MDC National Chairperson Senator Morgen Komichi has urged members of the opposition party to remain calm as the candidate selection process continues.

There is rising tension in the MDC and low level structures have vowed to resist attempts by senior party members to impose their preferred candidates.

Below is Komichi’ s statement:
The MDC T candidate selection process is going on well. The Primary elections in Chitungwiza, Harare and the remaining areas in other Provinces will be done from Friday to Sunday.

At the moment election Teams are in Masvingo and Manicaland. I would like to appeal to all
MDCT members to remain calm and conduct the elections peacefully, thank you so much.
