By Own Correspondent: The MDC T Secretary General Douglas Mwonzora has dispelled as false rumours circulating on social media that he has resigned from the party.

Mwonzora said contrary to the rumours, he remains Secretary General and will oversee the march towards the people’s victory.

Said Mwonzora in a tweet:

A malicious rumour is being spread that I have resigned from the MDCT. I am not, have never been and will never be a quitter. I still remain the People's Secretary General I will oversee the march towards the People's victory. We shall keep on knocking!

Mwonzora’s response comes amid rumours that he had quit the party over “irreconcilable differences”.
