By Paul Nyathi|Hundreds of MDC-T supporters are gathered at Mahetshe Village in Matobo District Matabeleland South to lay their last respects for the late Senator Sithembile Mlotshwa.

In attendance is the party Deputy President Elias Mudzuri who is representing President Nelson Chamisa who was meant to attend the burial.

Also in attendance is splinter MDC-T leader Thokozani Khupe who is accompanied by her Presidential election campaign manager Priscilla Misihairabwi Mushonga and former Speaker of Parliament Lovemore Moyo.

Khupe and Mushonga have brought heavy security around them.

Senator Mlotshwa died at the United Bulawayo Hospitals on Thursday last week after a long illness.
