By Dorrothy Moyo| The populist and Harare preacher, Talent Chiwenga was humiliated yesterday when his cousin brother came out in full support of his boss, Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Talent Chiwenga’ s “prophecy” in July in which he claimed that within 90 days “the election thieves” would fall on each others’ throats, came to naught as Chiwenga said he is backing Mnangagwa for a full two terms (10 years).

Talent Chiwenga has also claimed that an Adonijah and a Joab who perforned a coup on the King would both die.

Talent Chiwenga has recently also made false claims that Emmerson Mnangagwa is clueless about who sent soldiers to kill civilians on the 1st August 2018, blaming everything on his cousin brother, Constantino.

Yesterday, Constantino Chiwenga took to the podium to praise his boss, Mnangagwa calling him a consistent revolutionary who has never betrayed the revolutionary party. He dispelled long standing reports that he wants to be President of the Party.

Chiwenga read his speech saying,  “President and First Secretary, I would like to assure you that as a party we are fully behind you as our Political commander in chief. We have heard your orders and we will fully implement them to the letter.

“We also heard Your Excellency, the call for all of us to discuss the National question. Your clarion call for the strict adherence to the party line has been heard and shall be listened to.”

Chiwenga also took a turn to endorse Mnangagwa as the sole candidate of ZANU PF in 2023. He said, “your Excellency, from now until 2023 you are our one and only presidential candidate. Our constitution allows you two full terms and you shall have them. This we are doing it so that the party Zanu PF continues to draw from your wise compassionate leadership. We are starting now to prepare for your victory which we know is sure to come.”
