By Dorrothy Moyo| Former Foreign Affairs Minister Walter Mzembi faced deportation calls from South Africa after being caught on camera fit as a fiddle at a time when it has been claimed that he has died.

The assumption at the close of day yesterday was that the former Masvingo strongman had faked illness, the “ED Gwanda Poison” style, in similar ways Mnangagwa used fake poison to install himself president in 2017.

While a comment could not be obtained from the man himself, scores of senior ZANU PF heavyweights yesterday alleged he had faked illness in order to buy court time.

He is wanted in Zimbabwe where his case for alleged corruption is being heard in court.

Other sources criticised his lawyer Job Sikhala.

“Saka akanyepa ka Sikhala arikupi?,” alleged a ZANU PF Masvingo war veteran yesterday.
