They also assured users saying the site was not under any DDOs attack as previously assumed.

Many users around the world spent the afternoon yesterday struggling to update their portals. Some reported clear service errors while others said they were failing to post updates to either their personal portals or Facebook pages.

In their statement they said, “we’re focused on working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, but can confirm that the issue is not related to a DDoS attack.

We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.” – More follows
