Sundowns, The Only Team From Southern Africa That Has Reached CAF Champions League Semi-finals

Farai Dziva| Tswane Giants Mamelodi Sundowns are the only team from the COSAFA Region still in the CAF Champions League Tournament.

Sundowns have managed to reach the semifinals of the 2018/19 CAF Champions League season.

The Pretoria-based club will face Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco while in another semi-final clash, defending champions Esperance (Tunisia) lock horns with TP Mazembe (DRC).

The first legs will be played on the 26th of April, and the return fixtures are set on the 3rd of May.

Esperance and Wydad will start the round with home games.
