By Own Correspondent| The social media was this afternoon awash with photos showing Bulawayo central business district being surrounded by anti-riot police in armoured vehicles.

The police had also deployed water tankers which were on standby to disperse people in case things went out of control

The development followed information reports that there would be a solidarity peace march in support of Chief Nhlanhlayamangwe Ndiweni starting at Joshua Nkomo statue in the heart of Bulawayo.
