Jane Mlambo| It seems the economic free-fall currently taking a toll on Zimbabwe is not ending soon with the country’s largest sugar producer Tongaat Hullets becoming the latest company to hike prices.

According to the latest price list from Tongaat 1KG of brown sugar now costs $4.99, 2KG- $9.98, 5KG- 24.95 and 10KG- $49.90

White sugar now costs $5.22 for 1KG while 2KG costs $10.44, 5KG- $26.10 while 10KG- $52.20.

Meanwhile Delta Beverages has reduced the price of beer citing the improvement in the foreign currency availability on the interbank market.
