The MDC Youth Assembly would like to extend a deluge of gratitude to the residents of Kadoma Ward 2 for taking heed of the MDC Youth Assembly’s clarion call of winning all by elections.
Clr Svorai Chiwara’s victory comes right in the backdrop of MDC Youth Assembly National leadership’s visit to Kadoma where the Youth Chairman Obey Sithole highlighted the Assembly vision and roadmap towards the party’s theme of defining a new course for Zimbabwe.
The MDC victory in Kadoma is not only historic but symbolic.
It is historic in the sense that this is the first by election victory after the newly elected Youth Assembly assumed office.
More importantly, the MDC victory in Kadoma comes with abundance of symbolism especially given that it feeds into the Youth Assembly’s clarion call to consign ZANU PF into political extinction.
That clarion call and vision starts with Kadoma’s seemingly little but giant step towards the Assembly’s declaration to make ZANU PF unelectable going forward.
The hallmark of this Assembly is anchored on consistency in pursuing of set agendas and goals.
While addressing congregants on the sidelines of the Mashonaland Central Provincial Council, Youth Chair Obey Sithole reiterated on the Assembly’s desire to reclaim rural areas from ZANU PF.
That task Sithole said starts by winning all the upcoming rural by elections, with Bikita and Lupane in sight.
Elsewhere, the Youth Assembly National Organizer, Godfrey Kurauone also shared the same sentiments when he addressed at the official Bikita by election campaign launch.
