Paul Nyathi|The European Union has declared that the highly expensive anti sanctions that were held in Zimbabwe on Friday will not at all influence the Union to change its position on sanctions imposed on some ZANU PF leaders and companies.

In an official Twitter post on Friday, the Union said sanctions decisions are reviewed once a year by a gathering of all member states or only when Zimbabwe has managed to adhere to set requirements.

Zimbabwe held countrywide demonstrations against sanctions on Friday hoping to pressure the Union and America to revisit the embargo.
