Jane Mlambo| A United States of America (USA) Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has drafted State Security minister Owen Ncube for inclusion on the sanction list over his involvement in state sanctioned violence against citizens.

This comes just on the day President Emmerson Mnangagwa led the country to march and denounce the sanctions imposed on the country by USA and the European Union.

Posting on Twitter, Pompeo urged Zimbabwe to end state sactioned violence and bring to book all those involved in rights violations.

“Today, I publicly designated Owen Ncube for his involvement in a gross violation of #HumanRights in #Zimbabwe. State-sanctioned violence in Zimbabwe must end now and those responsible for human rights violations must be held accountable,” said Pompeo.
