By A Correspondent| President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s spokesperson George Charamba used his son’s school prize giving day to confirm that he is the one behind the @Jamwanda2 twitter handle that has been dishing information on government business, some of it exclusive.

Charamba posted two certificates awarded to his son Mukudzei at Alexandra Park Primary School in Harare which he said served to confirm his identity after so much speculation.

“For those who have always wondered, speculated, no prize for guessing. Herewith Mukudzei’s certificates. And he is every inch my SON!! Work it out, trace it back to Jamwanda2, your lovely, doughty discussant!!! Bingo!!,” posted Charamba.

Mukudzei was awarded a certificate for coming first in his class and another for being the most dedicated soccer player.

Earlier, Charamba, a widower, thanked friends and relatives for helping him  raise his children.

“My tribute to the maids who ensure my kids are daily ready for school, even when I am not around; to their big Sister Komborero who ensures she plays surrogate parent in my routine absence; to Kundai Gombe, muzukuru wangu who stands by me all the time.

“Mr and Mrs Quarter, tuzukuru who hover around when I am away; my PA, Mai Kapembeza whose husband has allowed her to go beyond call of duty; my colleagues in OPC, Nyamutowa and Mukurazhizha, who shunt the kids to school daily. To Shingi, who plays game with them. Mukoma wavo George (Junior) who routinely takes the boys to University stadium for weekend practices.

He will feel proud to hear Mukudzei has got a prize for football. Above all, to mufana wangu Phelex naamainini who watch over my doubly orphaned family when I am away,” posted Charamba.  

“In a very special way to Mai naBaba Chris Chinaka, Mai Chinaka especially, who never misses the kids’ birthdays even when their father does!!! Mbuya Chengu, ambhuya vangu, I hope this brightens your day. She left us bright gifts; she smiles down on us!!”
