By A Correspondent- A Bulawayo woman was left shocked after her estranged husband’s mistress brazenly told her to forget getting back her husband whom she is now cohabiting with.

A heartbroken Clara Bashaka said after the boast, she suspected that her estranged husband Richard Chiwara’s alleged mistress, who is a police officer, gave him a powerful love portion that caused him to turn his back on his family.

She strongly believed the way Chiwara bolted from her life and that of his three children was as a result of muthi.

Bashaka poured her heart out after Chiwara approached the courts seeking a restraining order to stop her from disturbing his newly found love by coming to where he is now staying with his alleged mistress.

“She (mistress) has done something to him. I still love him but his girlfriend who is a police officer affirmed that she has done something to him and is not going to come back to his family. She said they were going to stay together forever. I even took his clothes with the view that he was going to come back home but that didn’t work,” lamented Bashaka.

Her lament came after Chiwara passionately begged the court to grant an order that sternly stops her from coming to his workplace and where he is currently staying.

“We have separated and I don’t want her to come to my workplace and where I am currently staying. After we separated, I went to her aunt and told her that I no longer love her. She took my clothes and left me with one shirt. She is also insulting and threatening me. She once dumped the children at my workplace saying she was going to South Africa,” said Chiwara.

Bashaka however, defended her actions saying she went to his workplace because Chiwara was no longer giving her money to buy food.

In her ruling the presiding magistrate Adelaide Mbeure ordered Bashaka not to insult her estranged husband and not to visit his workplace and where he is now staying with his alleged mistress.
