By Jane Mlambo| Former Masvingo provincial minister Kudakwashe Bhasikiti has warned that displacing a dictatorial regime is not an easy process in a state where youths are docile while citizens are poor.
Posting on Twitter, Bhasikiti said genuine political reforms and demilitarisation of the military is the only solution to the doing away with dictatorial regimes.
He added that the history of dictatorial regimes is that they are replaced by worse leaders citing the case of Zimbabwe where the late former President was replaced by President Emmerson Mnangagwa while in Uganda, Yoweri Museveni is not any better from his predecessor.
“The history of succeeding a dictator,is you become worse than him.Museveni now n Uganda.Smith to Mugabe to ED ,same story. This problem is exacerbated by a docile youth&poor citizens.Genuine political reforms&demilitarisation of the military solves this problem.”
