“We are ready to assist the nation in case of any eventualities in the distribution of food and medical supplies to the need. We can provide air transport when asked to do so.”
Air Marshal Moyo also said the AFZ has embarked on rigorous air craft recovery programme to bring most of its grounded platforms back online using its qualified personnel.
“We are in the process of bringing back our grounded equipment back on line so that we can react quickly in times of need”
The AFZ has been responsive to various crises in the country, including spearheading rescue operations during floods.
