By A Correspondent- President Emmerson Mnangagwa has announced that only ZUPCO contracted buses are to operate as the country remains in Lockdown indefinitely.

Mnangagwa revealed several other measures to be observed during what he termed as Level 2 of the country’s Lockdown including the mandatory wearing of masks.

He also revealed that the Level 2 Lockdown had been extended indefinitely.

He said:

“….Zimbabwe will therefore continue on the Level 2 Lockdown for an indefinite period. We shall have regular 2 week interval reviews to assess progress, or lack of it. …The modified phased approach, will further allows us to increase surveillance including early detection, testing….”
