Chiredzi West MDC Alliance solidly behind President Nelson Chamisa
As MDC Alliance leader Mr Chidaushe donates cement and borehole equipment in Chivi North

The Chiredzi West MDC Alliance structures have remain solidly behind President advocate Nelson Chamisa.
On Sunday 13th September 2020, Chiredzi West MDC Alliance structures held a highly subscribed meeting.
Chiredzi West MDC Alliance district chairperson Mr James Kampota said, “Chiredzi West district and general populace are supporting President Chamisa and MDC Alliance party. ”
He further state that, “We have rejected MDC T led by Khupe -Mudzuri-Komichi and Mwonzora. It is our view, that MDC T led by Khupe is Zanu PF proxy. They have been created by Zanu PF to destroy our MDC Alliance party led by President Nelson Chamisa.”
Kimberely Tariro Mamhende political analyst said, “The high numbers of MDC Alliance Chiredzi West structures who attended Sunday 13th September 2020 meeting proves beyond doubt that President Nelson Chamisa commands great grassroots support. In addition, it’s a sign that MDC T led by Khupe project has suffered still birth.”
Furthermore, political analyst Tariro Kimberley Mamhende said, “Currently, ten Chiredzi West MDC Alliance members including MDC Alliance National women assembly acting chairlady honourable Mugidho were arrested for demonstrating on 31 July 2020. The arrest of these MDC Alliance members is barbaric as demonstration is a right enshrined in the Zimbabwean constitution.”
Senator Misheck Marava MDC Alliance National member addressed the Chiredzi West structures said, “Thank you for coming in your numbers. We have come to inform you that MDC Alliance party led by our charismatic president Chamisa is intact and is growing.”
MDC National member Leader Matara said, “We want to give solidarity to our 10 Chiredzi West MDC Alliance members who were arrested on 31 July 2020. ZANU PF is persecuting MDC Alliance members through arresting them. Do not be intimidated. Remain strong.”
On the other hand, MDC Alliance National member Mrs Chakabuda stated that, “MDC T led by Khupe is using recalls as a strategy to intimidate our elected members of parliament, councillors, proportional representatives, senators and provincial council members. We are pleased to inform you that 97% of our 2018 elected officials have remained in support of MDC Alliance led by President Nelson Chamisa. We thank honourable Mugidho for standing with president Nelson Chamisa. Hon. Mugidho was recalled but she has remained resolute in supporting president Chamisa.”
Hon . Mugidho, MDC Alliance National women assembly acting chairlady said, “MDC T led by Khupe has been rejected in Chiredzi West. Yes, the MDC T Mudzuri faction leaders are always in Chiredzi West trying to recruit 2014 structures to vote for Mudzuri as president at their extraordinary congress. However, the 2014 structures have rejected them.”
Factionalism has greatly affected MDC T led by Khupe in Masvingo Province. The battle to control Masvingo Province have caused deep hatred between three factions namely: Mwonzora, Komichi and Mudzuri factions. Khupe faction has no support in Masvingo Province.
All Chiredzi West MDC Alliance councillors have pladged their support to president Chamisa and MDC Alliance party.
At this meeting MDC Alliance councillor Musingashari of ward 6 and councillor Chikonye of ward 7 who attended this meeting pledged their full support to president Chamisa despite threats for being recalled by MDC T led by Khupe.
In Chivi North, MDC Alliance provincial vice treasurer Mr Chidaushe donated cement and borehole equipment. There is a massive shortage of water for human and animal consumption in Chivi North. As a result, the donation of cement and borehole equipment will help Chivi North residents and animals to get adequate water.
MDC Alliance President Nelson Chamisa is on record encouraging MDC Alliance leaders to assist the communities to solve social, economic and political problems.
