By A Correspondent | A Zimbabwean nurse who is a pastor has passed away in Nottingham.

The mother of two, Anna Chibwana, was also a pastor’s wife. Her husband, Edwin, is a close colleague of Christ Embassy church founder, Chris Oyakhilome.

They’ve been together running a church in the east Midlands, called The New Creation church.

A family member, a niece described Anna as ‘a loving mother who was always hardworking.’

She passed away following a combined struggle with COVID and colon cancer.

She had colon cancer before and was later diagnosed COVID positive after hospitalisation, a church elder told ZimEye.

A former church media employee described Pastor Anna as a dedicated mother, a hard worker who was working hard to look after her family in the UK and in Zimbabwe. – More to follow…
