Tanzanian side Azam FC has taken another Zimbabwean on board after appointing Nyasha Charandura as the club’s Sports Scientist.

Charandura, who is also the Warriors’ fitness coach, joins fellow countrymen and players Prince Dube, Bruce Kangwa and Never Tigere at the Tanzanian team. He is a holder of a sports science degree from Bulawayo’s National University of Science and Technology (NUST).

“Congratulations to Warriors Fitness Coach Nyasha Charandura on his appointment as Azam FC’s Sports Scientist,” ZIFA said on Tuesday.

“We wish him all the best at Azam, knowing that his futuristic knowledge will immensely enhance his club’s competitiveness.”

Charandura’s move was facilitated by football agent George Deda who has worked on several transfers of Zimbabweans in the Tanzanian top-flight.-Soccer 24
