Tinashe Sambiri|MDC Alliance leader, President Nelson Chamisa, has accused Zanu PF of denigrating traditional leaders.

Speaking at his mother’s memorial service in Gutu on Saturday, President Chamisa said traditional leaders should not be used by Zanu PF to harass opposition members.

“Traditional leaders are being abused by Zanu PF. Traditional leaders deserve respect and they should be apolitical.

It is sad to note that Zanu PF is using traditional leaders to victimize opposition members.

Traditional leaders are highly esteemed people,” said President Chamisa.

On the way forward he said:

“What we know is victory is certain, it’s only a matter of time.Every struggle has its own unique characteristics.We know exactly what we are doing – please do not panic.

Zanu PF has run out of ideas – that’s an undeniable fact.

I know some people are saying we are failing to deal with Zanu PF tyranny- that’s not true.

We are marching towards total freedom.It is everyone’s duty to fight for freedom – It’s not about Chamisa alone.”
