Despite attempts by Zanu PF hooligans to disrupt the programme, hundreds of MDC Alliance members attended the rally on Sunday.

The trailblazing MDC Alliance Youth Assembly today(Sunday ) invaded Mamina Growth Point, Mashonaland West to launch the # 1Million Youth Voices for Change Campaign.
Hundreds of youths from this impoverished rural area which was turned into a hotbed of organized ZANU PF political violence since early 2000 attended the launch in a show of confidence in the able leadership of People’s President Nelson Chamisa.
Youth Assembly leadership led by National Chairman and guest speaker, Obey Tererai Sithole, Vice Chairperson Cecilia Chauya Chauya Chimbiri, SG Gift Ostallos Siziba, Spokesperson Stephen Sarkozy Chuma, Deputy Organizer Netsai Marova, Deputy TG, Judith Tobaiwa and Students Council Chair Prince Gora graced the occasion.
Also in attendance was former Youth Commander, Happymore Bvondo Chidziva popularly referred to as the ‘Rural President’ – a moniker derived from his post, Rural Mobilization and Recruitment Secretary.
Youth Commander Cde Obey Sithole highlighted on the need to recruit new 1 million youth voices that is going to confront Emmerson Mnangagwa’s corrupt military dictatorship.
The Youth Commander also declared that time to put a halt on the legitimacy question that is manifesting through the current economic meltdown is now!
