By Jane Mlambo| James E Risch, the United States Senator for Idaho who is also a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee has castigated the Zimbabwe government for the recall of MDC Alliance Member of Parliament for Harare East Tendai Biti saying it is another example of subversion of the will of the people.

Posting on Twitter yesterday Senator Risch said;

“The recall of @BitiTendai and other members of parliament in #Zimbabwe last week is yet another example of the systematic dismantling of the elected political opposition & subversion of the will of the Zimbabwean people.”

Biti was recalled from parliament together with five other members including Regai Tsunga, Settlement Chikwinya, Kucaca Phulu and two others who were former members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
