Court remand and Chikurubi Female and maximum is being made our 2nd home, because we are determined to fight for all injustices in the judiciary system to defend a better Zimbabwe for all and that strengthens our resolve.
Today I was back in court on 2 different allegations, one which we’re 7 youth leaders, myself, Joana Ruvimbo Mamombe Cecillia R Chimbiri Makomborero Haruzivishe Tererai Obey Sithole Stanley Manyenga Lovejoy Chitengu and being alleged to have broken covid regulations by participating in an anti-govt protest against hunger during May 2020 national lockdown period. Sadly as usual the trial could not commence as the state applied for postponement since they will never be ready and the matter has been postpond to 13 May 2021 for start of trial.
2nd one is one which they claim I assaulted a police officer inside charge office when am the one who was assulted for seeking clarity on why the targeted victimisation and arrest of Joana and Cecilia on a press wch we read in solidarity with Makomborero Haruzivishe. And again no trial commenced and the matter remanded to 10 May 2021.
On the other hand Joana and Cecilia had another matter in court 6 for remand and at high court for bail hearing which has been postpond to Wednesday 28th.
In the fullness of this persecution by prosecution. We remain resolute to the cause and continue to demand justice in our lifetime. One day the people shall govern and Zimbabwe shall be free!
