President Chamisa also denounced the ZUPCO monopoly saying it is exposing passengers to the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.

The ZUPCO monopoly is causing chaos in central Harare as hundreds jostle for the few available buses.

“COMMAND TRANSPORT MUST END!

The illegal ZUPCO monopoly has;
-left many jobless and desperate.

-Brought suffering leaving many stranded or in crowded rickety buses and resorting to insecure open trucks.

-ZUPCO is potentially a COVID-19 super spreader but the 4×4 ‘Chefs’ don’t just care. #BringbackKombis,” said President Chamisa in a statement.
