Mnangagwa Under Pressure To Release Obey Sithole

Tinashe Sambiri|Human Rights activists have challenged the Zanu PF leader Mr Emmerson Mnangagwa to release jailed MDC Alliance Youth Assembly leader Obey Sithole.

Pressure groups have also called for Sithole’s immediate release.

Human rights activist and ZINASU member Nancy Njenge condemned the detention of Sithole.

“This is my brother, and a former #ZINASU SG. He is also the commander of young people.

Blessing Simpson Madzima wrote:
“Obey deserves our solidarity and support. No one has a right to infringe on his right to freedom. His freedom is fundamental and a prerequisite right now. We demand his release.”

Hamidu Bobali said:
“I know why the regime is afraid of you, and I know why they decided to hold you in their custody.

The only reason is your fight for freedom and true independence .. Keep it up brother -those who hold you today, will salute you tomorrow.”
