By James Gwati- The civil society has raised concern over the continued breaching of Covid-19 regulations by Zanu PF President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

The civil society’s representative body, the Crisis In Zimbabwe Coalition, on Wednesday issued a stern warning to Mnangagwa complaining about his continued covid-19 regulations violations.

” We have also noted with great concern that the ruling party, Zanu PF continues to defy Covid 19 lockdown regulations by embarking on events that attract huge gatherings,” said Crisis.

The unveiling of the Mbuya Nehanda statue yesterday was attended by hundreds of Zanu PF supporters in direct defiance of Covid 19 lockdown regulations on public gatherings.

This was the third time in a week that President Mnangagwa has gathered large gatherings in defiance of the World Health Organization (WHO) regulations on Covid 19.
