Tinashe Sambiri| A man suspected to be mentally challenged was burnt to the death by a fire he lit to warm himself in the city of Masvingo last night.

The man’s body was burnt beyond recognition .

The charred body was found behind Family Pharmacy.

According to eyewitnesses, the place where the deceased was burnt showed that there was a fire burning from paper and plastics.

Police are yet to release an official statement on the incident.

However, according to vendors who spoke to ZimEye.com, the man was murdered by an unkown assailant.

“He was murdered, nothing else,” claimed one vendor.
