By A Correspondent | The notorious 9 armed robbers who’ve been on a spate of armed robberies, have been found guilty.

The 9 who appeared before magistrate Mateko at Harare magistrates court in court 5 for judgement for illegally possessing firearm and ammunition have been found guilty and remanded for tomorrow for mitigation and sentencing.

Their lawyer Mrs Concillia Maheya was absent.

The 9 include: Mussa Taj Abudul, Tapiwa Mangoma, Liberty Mupamhanga and 6 others.

Magistrate Mrs Barbra Mateko in convicting the nine said it was clear that they acting in common purpose when they were arrested.

The 9 were arrested in Beitbridge in August 2020 following a tip-off.
