SUBJECT;URGENT NEED TO GO ON A DOOR TO DOOR VOTER REGISTRATION EDUCATION BLITZ, AFTER LIFTING OF COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS BY GOVERNMENT, OPPOSITION MDCA PARTY URGED.!!!!!
MDCA NEC/NC Member Mr Paddington Japa Japa is calling on all MDCA Political Party Members from the National Council down to Branches to go on a vigorous door to door Voter Registration education Blitz, immediately after the lifting of the Covid 19 Restrictions by the Government of Zimbabwe through the Ministry of Health and Childcare. Yes it is very true that Covid 19 is a Big threat to our lives,it is lethal and devastating.If we all become reckless and not follow the World Health Organisation,Ministry of Health,and Certified Health Professional health and safe living guidelines, we shall surely Perish.To those who suspect or know that they are Covid 19 Positive, they must not put the lives of other vulnerable Citizens at risk.
The Word of God in 2 Chronicles 7 vs 13 Says,If i shut up heaven that there be no rain,or if I Command the Locusts to devour the land,or if i send Pestilence (Epidemic diseases that are virulent, contagious,infectious and devastating) among my People;
14.If my People ,who are called by my name,shall humble themselves,and Pray,and seek my face,and turn away from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven,and i will forgive their sin,and will heal their land.
15.Now mine eyes shall be open and mine ears attend unto the prayer that is made in this place.!!!
Our Lord God is very clear that he Permits some certain Situations and Calamities to happen amongst,His People,so that humanity can humble themselves,Pray to Him,seek His face and turn away from their wicked ways of life style.He God Almighty, will hear from heaven,forgive their Sin, and will heal their land.This message is from a Spiritual Perspective, but from a Humanistic Perspective, we have to Practice the World Health Organisation, Government through Ministry of Health and Childcare and Certified Health Practioners Directives and Guidelines.
However besides the above stated World Health Organisation and Health Ministerial requirements, humanity has to Satisfy Physiological Humanistic needs, to Survive. According to Famous Russian Psychologist Abraham Maslow,s Hierarchy of needs 1950.Humanity needs Food to eat,Shelter to live in, Better Education,Clean Water to drink and use,Money to Carter for everything, engage in Political Activities to bring change.Besides the effects of Covid 19 which are millitating against the above stated Humanistic Physiological needs. There must be a Balance between maintaining the highest Covid 19 health Standards, requirements and maintaining the day to day life supporting humanistic Activities,which if totally shut down, Human life might become extinct.
On the Political front the Zimbabwean Political Situation is currently languishing in the intensive care unit.There is need for a lot to be done versus the the constraints and unfriendly environment brought about by the Covid 19 epidemic.The Problem comes when the Zanu Pf Government uses selective Application of the law to deal with the Covid 19 threat.In the Past few months since the outbreak of the Pandemic, every Zimbabwean saw how Zanu Pf conducted its DCC and CCC Elections throughout the country during the Covid 19 lockdown Period, whilst attempts by the Opposition MDCA to hold rallies or small gatherings were twarted and crashed with impunity by the brutal regime Police,army and CIO agents.In a democratic Society, the law must be applied and used impartially to rule Citizens, and not to Oppress.In Zimbabwe Draconic law is used to punish innocent Citizens.
Under such circumstances members of the Opposition are always on the receiving end of such brutality and incaceration into filth unhygienic prisons cells.I therefore encourage members of the Opposition MDCA not to easily give up besides the persecution and harassment, but to continue fighting for Democratic and Political Space. As the main and biggest Opposition Political Party in Zimbabwe, MDCA must not surrender or easily give up their Constitutional rights,which are espoused in the 2013 Zimbabwean Constitution.
MDCA must go on a Country wide Voter Registration blitz, immediately after the Zanu Pf Regime lifts the Covid 19 Restrictions.This must not be done in groups, but as individuals,one on one as you speak to every Zimbabwean, in streets,shops,bottle stores,bars,market places,at dip tanks,in the fields,at funerals,and everywhere else around the Country.The only best way for the Opposition to enter into Goverment is by encouraging every Zimbabwean Citizen who is 18 years and above, to go and register to vote. This Message must be spread everywhere around the country.Failure to do so means that there shall be a Voter apathy, at the next 2023 Plebiscite.It shall prove to be very difficult for the Regime to rigg when the numbers are too huge!!! MDCA shall also need to defend the Election Victory Jealously after voting, by deploying sufficient Election Agents and Observers at each and every Polling Station, around the Country.The Election Materials eg V11s must be kept Privately,Secure and Secretly after voting in case of post Election Con Court challenge!!!
