VISITED BHALAGWE in Matobo.
Don’t vandalize erected plaques. Memory and history can’t be vandalized.
To deal with past atrocities.:
The state must;

  • take responsibility & genuinely apologize.
    -Allow a process of truth telling and accountability
    -Allow for restitutive justice, restorative justice and rehabilitative justice. But not retributive justice.
    -Allow & respect families to mourn and remember their relatives in reburials, memorial &plaques
    -Allow for closure,healing & reconciliation.

Even our community elders have so much hope in this bright and exciting future. Let’s build a NEW GREAT ZIMBABWE. Let’s support the NEW. We are the new leaders. Winning Zimbabwe for Change. #RegisterToVoteZW,” President Chamisa wrote on Twitter.
