Tinashe Sambiri|Tired Zanu PF functionary Obert Mpofu has torched social media storm after attempting to pour cold water on # Ngaapinde Hake Mukomana.
Writing on Twitter Mpofu attempted to “downplay” the impact of the popular maxim.Ngaapinde Hake Mukomana is a slogan coined by disgruntled citizens who want MDC Alliance leader, President Nelson Chamisa to take over power after winning the 2023 polls.
“Meanwhile, the Ngapinde Hake Mukoma noise is slowly dying down. Next hashtag please,” Mpofu tweeted.
Responding to Mpofu’s remarks MDC Alliance deputy spokesperson Clifford Hlatywayo said:
“It is dying in his old tired and corrupt brain. It is and will remain domiciled in the people’s hearts and be more vibrant and vicious during elections. This is a citizens call which is beyond political parties.
It is signal that change is coming engineered by the citizens themselves.
Citizens have decided to unite and converge to win Zimbabwe for change. Mukomana/Jaha is there and people are ready to vote for him in the next plebiscite.
The war is Zimbabweans against the dictators in ZANU pf, definitely the people are winning. It will be a thunderous victory for Jaha/mukomana through the People’s power. uChamisa Nguye Kangene.”
Angry Zimbabweans lambasted Mpofu for stealing State resources at will.
