A social media user known as Flame Fire has ridiculed Zanu PF leader President Emmerson Mnangagwa by comparing him to Mukadota, a well-known Zimbabwean comedian and musician.
The late Mukadota, real name Safirio Madzikatire, was famous for his humorous roles and performances.
Flame Fire criticized Mnangagwa’s recent statement regarding his visit to China, saying, “You think Baba VaRwizi will bring back fruitful results from China? That will never happen. Baba VaRwizi is a big joke.”
The comment was in response to Mnangagwa’s announcement on his China trip:
“As my visit to China concludes, I am pleased with the successful engagements at the 2024 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit.
The discussions held with President Xi Jinping and other leaders have paved the way for stronger cooperation in key areas that will benefit Zimbabwe and the African continent. I look forward to turning these commitments into tangible progress for our people.”
