From the very start, the Gems took control, racing to a 20-6 lead in the opening quarter. Captain Felistas Kwangwa led her team with poise and precision, ensuring they maintained their momentum in the second quarter, extending the lead to 39-13 by halftime.
Eswatini struggled to keep up, and despite their efforts, they could not come close to matching the Gems’ firepower. By the final whistle, Zimbabwe had sealed a comfortable win with a 78-27 scoreline.
Next, the Gems will face hosts Namibia in their final Pool B match, aiming to extend their winning streak and secure a spot in the semifinals.
