Silas Songani has signed a one-year contract extension with Icelandic top-tier club Vestri, keeping him at the club for another season.

The Zimbabwean winger, who joined Vestri in 2022, has been an important part of the squad ever since. The club confirmed the extension in an official statement.

The statement reads: “Silas Songani and Benjamin Schubert have both extended their contracts with Vestri by one year.

“Silas will be entering his fourth season with Vestri, having played in the Lengjudeild karla in 2022 and 2023, and in the Besta deild karla (top-flight league) this year.

“He is an exciting winger, known for his speed and power, always posing a threat on the field.”
