Italian Serie A giants AS Roma have reportedly set their sights on signing Jordan Zemura, who is currently on the books of Udinese.

According to Italian daily Leggo, Roma are closely monitoring the Zimbabwe international, with the aim of bringing him to the club during the current transfer season.

Zemura, who is in his second year of a contract that expires in June 2027, has caught the attention of Roma’s scouts, who believe he would be an ideal backup for Angelino in the left-back position.

This development comes hot on the heels of reports last month that AC Milan were also interested in signing Zemura, with the Rossoneri viewing him as a potential backup for Theo Hernandez.

It remains to be seen whether Roma will formalize their interest in Zemura with a concrete offer, but one thing is clear – the Zimbabwean left-back is increasingly in demand among Italy’s top clubs.
