Controversial Zanu PF businessman Wicknell Chivayo reportedly bullied his in-laws during his Roora Day, which took place on Saturday, March 8, at the Marondera home of Lucy “Lulu” Muteke.

During the ceremony, Chivayo, who has been at the center of various public controversies, boasted about paying a bride price of over US$150,000.

In a video clip that has since gone viral on social media, Chivayo expressed his frustration with the traditional procedures, making it clear that he wanted to move through the process quickly.

“I don’t want them to waste my time. They must just tell me the total figure they want from me, that’s all. I will give them the money.

I have got the money ready. I don’t want too many procedures, all those protocols will waste my time,” Chivayo can be heard saying in the video.

His remarks have sparked backlash on social media, with many criticizing his attitude and approach to the cultural ceremony.
