The government has announced an extension to the deadline for payment of ZIMSEC November 2025 examination fees, moving it to May 16.

The announcement was made by the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Honourable Torerayi Moyo, during a Senate question and answer session at the New Parliament Building in Mt Hampden on Thursday.

“The original deadline for public examination fees was set for March 28, but after receiving a request from Parliamentarians today, we have consulted with stakeholders and agreed to extend the date to May 16,” the Minister said.

This extension is expected to ease the financial burden on parents and benefit thousands of students across the country.

The Senate session on Thursday also highlighted other key issues, such as the government’s efforts to remove vendors from the Central Business Districts in towns nationwide, the payment of outstanding benefits to liberation war veterans, and the need for schools tailored to the needs of people with special needs.
