By A Correspondent|  The expelled former MDC Deputy President Thokozani Khupe has been exposed for smuggling in members of the Vapositori sect so to try to upstage MDC leader Nelson Chamisa.

On the day that she held her last anti Chamisa rally last week but one at the Bulawayo Amphitheatre, Khupe hired members of the vapositori, other religious groups from rural areas and the rest from civic groups. Western Region leader Jenni Williams at the time issued a loud call to disassociate her reputable group from Khupe’s ambitious meeting.

At the time, ZimEye contacted Khupe and her Secretary, Witness Dube said she does not want to talk to journalists because “she is not friendly to the media.” The full interview is in the ZimEye TV video repository.

Following that the local MDC-T office announced saying they “have been vindicated that Khupe had a rented crowd composed of apostles, civic society organizations, and dubious or bogus political parties.”

The Bulawayo provincial
Felix Mafa Sibanda told ZimEye, “these bogus political parties had tribal solidarity which is counteroffensive, counterproductive and retrogressive to say the least. Instead of uniting with other like minded political parties, Khupe has chosen to work with reactionaries.

“The irony is that Khupe is anti MDC Alliance but chose to work with ZANU PF and dubious and tribal groupings.
We as MDC T are calling our members to be steadfast and be peaceful and continue with registration as voters and adhere to the party constitution and all party resolutions.”
