By Own Correspondent| Opposition leader Nelson Chamisa has implored President Emmerson Mnangagwa to stop their lavish travel and invest in the country’s health delivery system.
Chamisa’s statement follows revelations by striking senior doctors of the dire situation at the country’s public hospitals.
Said Chamisa in a statement:
“Very sad and regrettable reality but Mnangagwa chartered a plane to Asian countries for days that gobbled US$74 000 per hour, hired a new plane for Grace Mugabe gobbling US$1.4 million in only one trip, chartered Fly Africa to South Africa wasting US$200 000 on the way.
But can not buy just a hospital syringe. Not funny at all. They only care about themselves and no one else. Thats why some of us are fighting them every day. All the trips were a waste of tax payers’ money. No country can provide funding to a corrupt, murderous and illegitimate government.
When we are in charge, it will only require a call to our allies to get the necessary funding.”
