Togarepi, added that Zanu Pf had been given the sole mandate to rule by the people of Zimbabwe hence should not share power with any political party.
He said Mnangagwa was a good and accommodating leader who welcomed dialogue but the youth wing would not tolerate power sharing by “their elected leader”.
Said Togarepi:
“You are our President you saw it fit to talk to all of them (opposition political parties). But as the youth league, we do not want all those who hear about dialogue to think that it is negotiation. Dialogue we can talk, we can interact, we can hear their views but the mentality that the power that was given to Zanu Pf by the people of Zimbabwe can be shared, that mentality should be thrown away.”
