By A Correspondent| The High Court of Zimbabwe has postponed the bail hearing for the estranged wife of Vice President  Constantino Chiwenga, Marry Chiwenga  nee Mubaiwa.

Marry’s bail and appeal hearings have been moved to December 27, to allow the prosecution to file its response.

This means that she will spend Christmas in custody.

The bail and appeal hearings had been set for this Friday, but the prosecution, which is opposing both the bail and appeal, said it was not ready.

Marry was arrested on Saturday last week by Zimbabwe Anti-corruption Commission (ZACC) investigators and charged for fraud, attempted murder, externalisation of foreign currency and money laundering.
