Tinashe Sambiri| Human rights activist Alan Moyo has finally been granted bail after spending 72 days in prison.

Alan has been granted RTGS $ 10 000 bail.

“We have secured the release from prison of Allan Moyo on RTGS$10 000 bail after he spent more than two months in jail. We thank our lawyer Obey Shava of ZLHR for investing his energy against all odds to fight for Allan’s freedom.

Makomborero Haruzivishe has begun.Let’s keep the fight the regime must know these are people representing the voiceless the mass,” Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights said in a statement.

Makomborero Haruvizishe will spend another night in police custody and he will be back in court on Saturday at 9 am.

“The court has ordered for a further a further detention of Makomborero Haruzivishe and have his matter resume tomorrow morning at 9am
Meanwhile he remains in police custody as court has ordered an extension,” said Cecilia Chimbiri.
