The on-going ZANU-PF’s 6th National Congress running under the theme “Accelerated implementation of Zim-Asset”, in Harare will mark the beginning of a new Zimbabwe.
This national congress will witness the rising of our country’s economy thereby elevating Zimbabwe to greater heights. The ZANU-PF constitution has been amended as a way of solving the challenges that have been affecting the ZANU-PF party and the country as a whole.
The ZANU-PF meeting of the National People’s Congress will bring changes in party leadership in their government positions, and will mark the official departure of some current government leaders who have been given vote of no confidence by their fellows.
The theme of this congress tells it all that, economic progress is the top priority of this meeting. For that reason, the new board of the elected leaders will have to work tirelessly to restore the ailing economy. Zimbabwe is blessed with abundant resources among them rich minerals and fertile soils. As a result, these resources must be utilized fully and positively so that the country will generate revenue from them.
The First lady’s message during her “meet the people rallies” was long overdue, as it made it clear and transparent that party leaders that lacked commitment and dedication towards developing the nation should be eliminated from conducting national duty.
Corruption is another factor that highly contributes to under development of a nation. Therefore, votes of no confidence should also be passed to all corrupt leaders who abuse state funds at the expense of their personal interest. Corruption should be uprooted in all ministries and parastatals. Ending corruption will also assist in the full implementation of Zim-Asset.
Solutions to eradicate corruption may not be hundred percent, but rather tools for decreasing high levels of corruption must be applied. After all, the main problem is not in the current political situation but rather the problem is the individualistic nature of human beings.
Elimination of incompetence party members will certainly witness high quality production and development in the nation’s day to day activities. Some party members were believed to be working with westerners with the aim of destabilizing the current government. Truly, western input has been dragging back the development of the economy.
Imposing of illegal sanctions by the westerners is one of the realistic examples that weakened the growth of the economy.
It is well known that ZANU-PF is a party of the people for the people. Whatever results that will come from the deliberations of congress will be for the good of the people of Zimbabwe.
Woman Eats Man
A mentally challenged Gutu woman reportedly ate “a man alive” as has beeen said after axing him to death before turning onto his wreathing corpse yesterday.
The occured yesterday morning when Esthar Katandawa (27) disarmed the man who had an axe on his shoulders, struck him on the head before eating his flesh, police confirmed.
Katandwa the official police statement said met the now-deceased Simon Muzenda (29) at around 9am in Mupandawana Village, in headman Gadzingo’s area.
Acting Masvingo provincial police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa confirmed the incident, saying Katandawa has since been arrested and was in police custody.
“We have indeed heard about the incident and we can confirm that the accused, who is mentally challenged, has
since been arrested and is in custody,” he said.
He said Katandawa met the deceased in the same village in the morning and disarmed him of the axe, before chasing after him and turning the axe on him.
“The now-deceased was limping as his leg was aching,” Dhewa said.
“After the axe was taken away from him, he tried to flee, but could not go further as he could not run due to his leg that was troubling him.

Rushwaya Demands “My Job and Money Now!”
As the ZANU PF Congress swung into full mode Thursday, the former ZIFA boss, Henrieta Rushwaya , fired for alleged misconduct in the infamous so called “Asiagate Scandal”, returned to her employer’s pad demanding to be reinstated and be paid all the salary she lost.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on the sidelines of the ZANU PF crunch Congress, Ms Rushwaya told ZimEye.com she was not paid a single penny during her tenure at ZIFA, and partly blamed her fate on the President Cuthbert Dube and his board for what she said was “the Asiagate Scandal which never existed”.
Her lawyers, Chinyama and Partners Legal Practitioners yesterday wrote to Zifa CEO Jonathan Mashingaidze demanding she be reinstated to her post within 48 hours and asked the mother body to pay the salary arrears within seven days.
The letter which was copied to Fifa secretary-general Jerome Valcke.
“Our client was employed by Zifa in terms of written contract of employment for a period of four years at an initial salary of $3 000 which she genuinely expected to rise to $4 000 after a period of six months and to be constantly reviewed after each and every twelve months,” the letter read in part.
“During her tenure of employment as CEO of Zifa she has never received any salary at all from your organisation despite the written contract of employment and your organisation owes our client arrear salaries at the rate of $4 000 per month for a period of 48 months which when calculated translates to $144 000,” the lawyers said.
Rushwaya told ZimEye.com, “I worked for 48 months which is equivalent to four years without being paid a single cent.” She blamed her demise on what she said were malicious attacks from the Cuthbert Dube led ZIFA board. Watch this space for the full interview.
TB Joshua Fights Judicial Coroner, Avoids Being Questioned on Building Collapse
The coroner’s inquest into the cause of the collapsed building at the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, was stalled Wednesday after the church’s founder filed an application seeking to stop him from appearing at the hearing.
Over 115 people, mostly foreigners, died in the September 12th incident.
Magistrate Oyetade Komolafe adjourned till December 5 to enable him rule on the application.
T.B Joshua, founder of the SCOAN, had filed an application before the coroner seeking for stay of further proceedings of the inquest pending the determination of the suit before a high court.
Mr. Joshua, through his lawyer, Olalekan Ojo, had also filed a similar application before a Lagos High Court in Ikeja praying for an order stopping the coroner from summoning him to give evidence.
“The coroner who relied on his personal knowledge of the facts of the case is not a proper person to preside at the inquest,” said Mr. Ojo.
At the inquest’s last proceedings, the coroner had told Mr. Joshua to emulate the South African ambassador who testified despite his immunity.
On Wednesday, Mr. Komolafe said that the applications challenging the inquest are stalling the enquiry.
“It’s like you don’t want your prophet to come to court,” he told Mr. Ojo.
“The order you are seeking in that motion…. We have to take this application before we move on, it will be an impediment.”
But Mr. Ojo said that he needed time to effect service to other parties involved in the inquest.
“The position we are in now is, technically, one that the motion cannot be said to be ripe for hearing, having not been served to parties,” said Mr. Ojo.
“It is a motion that is pending but not ripe for hearing.”
Mr. Komolafe said that the inquest cannot continue until the application is heard.
“I have to adjourn to hear the application and give a ruling.”

Grade 2 Drop-Out MP to Be Expelled With Joice Mujuru aides
Kwekwe Central MP Masango Matambanadzo (Blackman) who boasts of being a Grade 2 Drop-Out, is to be booted from both the party and Parliament over his violent public behaviour.
HON MP Matambanadzo in response to the reports has said he is only being persecuted because of his “sharp brains.” Mr Matambanadzo faces the axe after ZANU PF’s Midlands executive met to execute their resolve on him which is that he goes under the current purge of Mujuru supporters underway.
Senior Central Committee Douglas Tapfuma in a statement said the provincial executive has ruled to commence the process soon after congress which ends at the weekend.
“The province has been concerned by the behaviour of Hon Matambanadzo, who has been involved in various violent confrontations with senior members of the party and even the Mayor of Kwekwe (Matenda Madzoke). He has caused serious embarrassment to Zanu PF and we have just had enough,” Tapfuma said.
Matambanadzo faces charges of beating up fellow party legislator Owen Ncube (Gokwe-Kana MP) who is also the provincial secretary for security in Amaveni, the matter which is still pending at the courts.
Tapfuma also accused the controversial MP of boycotting party meetings and rallies held in the province.
“We don’t know if he is still a party member because he is not working with us, he has never visited the Kwekwe party office since he was elected and he is running a dubious $1 a day programme which as a party we have distanced ourselves from,” he said.
Tapfuma said soon after congress, the provincial executive will urgently submit its recommendations to the party’s national disciplinary committee to have Matambanadzo expelled from the party.
“We do not have the power to expel him from the party, but we can only recommend that he should be expelled and once that happens he will be recalled,” he said.
Matambanadzo on record says that he is being persecuted because of his “sharp brains”. “I might be a Grade 2 dropout, but I have sharp brains which have seen me helping people and that is the reason why some people from my own party hate me and are doing everything to pull me down,” he recently told flea market vendors in Kwekwe.
Mugabe Attacks Ghana, “Still As Poor As The Day I Met Sally in 60s”
President Robert Mugabe’s attacks on Vice President Joice Mujuru boiled up on Wednesday with him viciously attacking his inlaws’ country Ghana.
Mugabe said Ghana is still the same undeveloped state it was when he met his wife Sally in the 1960s.
“I have been to Ghana 1958 to 1960 and when you look at them now and compare their present situation to that that existed in the 1960s, no change.
“There might be more people yes, there may be one road from the airport which has been well done yekungoti vanhu vanosvika munyika imomo vafunge kuti nyika yakwirira,” he said.
Mugabe took a swiped at Ebola ravaged West and North Africa where the countries were predominantly colonised by France showed that Europe did not have Africa’s interests at heart.
“That’s about all, no change. There are still areas were not all children go to school, nyika dzakakura. Woti why? Because they have remained under the control of countries like France, European countries like that,” he said.
He said most French colonies had remained dependent on their former colonisers due to the agreements they signed when they attained independence and had no control over their natural resources.
“So those countries are not free. What is now very important but an absolutely discouraging development is that the leaders we get now are not of the same calibre as vana (Kwame) Nkrumah, vana Seko Toure, vana Modibo Keita, vana (Abdel) Nasser, no. They are all yes leaders because they expect help, money from European countries,” he said.
BREAKING NEWS – Rugare Gumbo Expelled from ZANU PF, Forever
ZANU PF’s suspended chairman Rugare Gumbo has been given the boot by the ZANU PF Congress currently underway in Harare.
The decision will mean Gumbo’s earlier 5 year suspension is now superseded by the expulsion.
Sitting in the Central Committee, members voiced they were collectively excommunicating Mr Gumbo forever. A source told this reporter following the decision, “We will deal in this way (navo vose) with all who work to destroy the party. Hakuna kwavanosvika vese ava vana Jabu navana Joram – They will not get anywhere,” he said. It was confirmed by spokesman Simon Khaya Moyo who said, “suspended spokesperson, Cde Rugare Gumbo has been expelled from the party by the central committee.”
Mr Gumbo was expelled following his recent criticism of President Robert Mugabe in which he announced that ZANU PF is facing a leadership crisis, making reference to his boss Mugabe.
“We have a serious leadership crisis and the whole world is aware of that. We have a leadership that is disjointed, a leadership that has no focus on how to resolve major issues. We have a leadership that is power-hungry and will do anything to subvert the will of the people,” Gumbo said.
“They want to remain leaders forever at the expense of the suffering majority. It is an unfocused leadership that is concerned with its own interests, not addressing the concerns of the people.”
Gumbo, a prominent veteran of the liberation struggle, said Mugabe (almost 91) has virtually lost control of the party as he has allowed power-hungry opportunists to push for illegal party constitutional amendments and purges to accommodate themselves.
“Mugabe has lost direction and he is being used by power hungry people. He has practically lost control of the party. He should not have allowed the First Lady to attack long-time comrades like that; and that on its own shows he is no longer in control. He has no vision. You cannot bulldoze amendments to the constitution so that it fits into what opportunists want.
“He has to respect the constitution. How can a leader who is in charge allow illegal purges of elected provincial executives like that. It means he is detached from the people. He is not the one controlling those provinces anymore and this should ring a bell that it’s time for change of leadership.”
Before his suspension Gumbo demanded that congress must resolve the succession issue

Mystery Ugly Bird Sent To Collect Debt
Sleepless nights as a bird is directed to collect debt.
Bulawayo – A Robert Sinyoka woman is having sleepless nights after a grey bird was reportedly sent from Tamandayi in Chipinge “to collect a debt” she failed to pay as per stipulated time and agreed period, a development that has roped in renowned local pastors to assist her.
Theresa Mguni 38, a cross border trader and operator of more than five flea market bays in and around Bulawayo travelled to South Africa three months ago to buy stock for her business, and this was the beginning of the troubles which has sent shivers in her spine countless times.
When she was from SA to buy goods, she deliberately took some bags which were stuffed with material for sale from across the border and sold the order before a dream came to her ordering her to return what she stole.
According to Ms Mguni, the dream kept coming until she sought divine intervention from prophets who warned her to look for the owner of the goods she had stolen previous months.
“I went back to Beitbridge and tried to look for the owners but that was to take me another journey into the deep jungle in search of the owners of the goods I took. I am regretting the day I picked up that did not belong to me,” said Mguni.
She also told ZimEye that she went to a village where she was directed by prophets and came across an old man in his 70s. She told her that he was waiting for her arrival three weeks to come and return the stolen goods.
“What can I do sekuru, because at the moment I do not have the goods, I sold them and I promise if you give me time I will pay you the loss, ” she said.
She was ordered to enter into a mutual agreement of paying the said amount which was calculated to $800 and she agreed. According to Mguni, sekuru gave her a small root that she said ‘I must take to SA and do another order and that the order will double the charge he demanded’. The goods that Mguni took were also valued at $400 and she was to repay her victims money and also another $400 to sekuru.
Mguni went to SA and did what she was told to do and the deal went well, that she managed to acquire $1600, which she squandered and delayed to return to sekuru with the payment for both her victims and the old man, she has admitted.
A few days after she squandered the cash, in the morning when she was taking a bath, a bird arrived from nowhere and greeted her in the bathroom and it introduced itself as sekuru Nyandima.
“I nearly fainted but I remembered that I had breached the agreement with the old man, so I am in a stressful situation as I only have $300 with me and I am failing to raise the cash on demand, ’ said Mguni who looked dejected and in shock.
Asked to shed more light about the bird, she told ZimEye that the bird is still coming every time she is at her lodgings and she is now asking for well-wishers to come to her rescue to pay off the old man.
Pastor Solomon Ncube of Christ for All Ministries told ZimEye that they also tried to assist Theresa but she does not commit herself to God and opts to go to fake prophets who tell her confusing and conflicting advices that haunt her.
Currently, Theresa is asking for anyone who can come to her rescue and she told ZimEye that she is prepared to give a collateral security for the $800 needed to pay off the debt.
Canada Resumes Zimbabwe Deportations
After a long ten year moratorium on deportations to Zimbabwe, Canada has announced it is resuming sending back Zimbos because according to them the situation in the nation has changed for the better.
Deportations will now also resume for citizens of Haiti, the government said.
The below was a public statement by Canada’s Citizenship and Immigration Minister, Chris Alexander.
Canada’s Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander, and Steven Blaney, Canada’s Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, today announced that the temporary suspension of removals for Haiti and Zimbabwe has been lifted, effective immediately. With the suspension now lifted, affected individuals will be provided with an additional six months to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
The Government of Canada is implementing measures for individuals affected by the lifting of the temporary suspension of removals. All affected individuals will be given an additional six months to stay in Canada, with access to work permits. This will allow them enough time to either apply for permanent residence in Canada based on humanitarian and compassionate (H&C) grounds or return home. In support of this measure, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will defer their removal pending a final decision on their H&C application.
Quick Facts
- The Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness may impose a temporary suspension of removals on a country when the entire civilian population faces a generalized risk as a result of:
– An armed conflict within a country or place;
– An environmental disaster resulting in a substantial temporary disruption of living conditions; or
– Any situation that is temporary and generalized.
- A temporary suspension of removals is an interim measure. The CBSA and Citizenship and Immigration Canada review country conditions and make recommendations on whether to impose, maintain or lift a temporary suspension of removals.
- The conditions in Haiti and Zimbabwe have improved and the Government of Canada considers that there is no longer a generalized risk to the entire civilian population in these countries.
Quotes
“Haitians and Zimbabweans have demonstrated tremendous courage in recovering from the earthquake of 2010 and years of political instability. After a thorough review of country conditions, the Government of Canada is lifting the temporary suspension of removals to these countries as others of our international allies have already done.”
Steven Blaney, Canada’s Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness
“Canada is one of the most generous countries in the world, and we have extended that generosity for over 10 years to Haitians and Zimbabweans by allowing them to stay in Canada because of unsafe conditions in their home countries. With the temporary suspension now lifted, the uncertainty has ended and Haitians and Zimbabweans will have the opportunity to apply to make Canada their permanent home.”

Mujuru MP Plan to Resign and Disable Mugabe |ANALYSIS
ZANU PF MPs aligned to Vice President Joice Mujuru are mulling plans to resign from Parliament in a move that could paralyse the legislature and force another general election.
The plan has as much chance of succeeding as the failed plan to ensure VP Mujuru held on to her position as VP after the elective congress. There are many reasons why the plan is doomed amongst them are the following:
To force another general election, two thirds of both houses, parliament and senate, will have to pass a resolution dissolving parliament and senate. The Mujuru faction plus MDC do not have the numbers.
Some people claimed Mujuru had as many as 100 MPs on her side before the factional fighting took centre stage three months ago; now with the battle all but won by the Mnangagwa faction, she will be very lucky to still have half of her MPs still behind her.
Mai Mujuru would be even luckier still if the 50 or so MPs supporting her would risk their seats on the gravy train and resign to force bye-elections. As seating MPs their economic situation is infinitely better than if they were just another head of the powerless and voiceless masses, povo. Mujuru faction candidate is certain to lose the bye-election to Mnangagwa faction candidate in the first place, if the bye-election is a repeat of last year’s vote, and if there is no vote rigging then the opposition candidate will win.
All Zanu PF MPs know that they did not win last year’s elections as Nathaniel Manheru cum George Charamba admitted in his last column over the weekend.
“If truth be told, very few leaders in Zanu-PF are able to explain how the 2013 elections happened, how the landslide victory came about. Equally, very few in Zanu-PF can legitimately claim that victory, much as it benefited them,” wrote Nathaniel Manheru in the article “The notion of an extended GNU had many silent proponents inside Zanu-PF” in Bulawayo24.
Everyone knows that last year’s elections were rigged and that it was the Mnangagwa faction who hatched the plan and executed it. Not that the plan was a master-piece, indeed it was amateurish as access to the voters roll would have revealed and hence Mugabe’s refusal to make it public. The plan worked largely because of the breath-taking incompetence of Morgan Tsvangirai and his MDC friends; they failed to get even one democratic reform implemented, they did not even insist on having the voters roll released.
Most of the Mujuru faction MPs including VP Mujuru herself were deliberately kept in the dark of the details of last year’s vote rigging plan still they were aware of the plan and have since learnt more details. If they are serious about ending the Zanu PF dictatorship then they must reveal the details of last year’s rigged elections because that will show the regime is indeed illegitimate. That will be enough to force the regime to accept the implementation of all the democratic reforms and thus ensure the next elections are free, fair and credible.
If the Mujuru faction kept their lips sealed as regards last year’s rigged elections, then they are storing up trouble for themselves because they will have no chance of winning the bye-elections. It is one thing throwing the loaded dice it is another matter knowing that you are being cheated.
The biggest challenge to Zanu PF’s continued rule is not the factional fighting, ruthless and bloody as it already, but the economic meltdown caused by the decades of gross mismanagement and rampant corruption. Throughout all these years none of the Zanu PF leaders, right across the factional divide, have shown that they had realised something was wrong. Even today, few in Zanu PF seems comprehend the full extent of the economic meltdown much less how to put it right.
If any of the Mujuru faction members are banking on public sympathy for the savage kicking in the teeth they have just got from the Mnangagwa faction to get themselves elected back into office to carry on as before on with the mismanagement and corruption as before then they need their heads examined. The Zimbabwe public want an end to the corruption and tyranny.
Conclusion
What the Mujuru faction is failing to realise is that as far as the ordinary Zimbabweans are concerns they are part and parcel of this corrupt and tyrannical Zanu PF dictatorship which dragged the nation into this political and economic hell-hole. The only way out of this hell is for the dictatorship to be completely dismantled; the dog-eat-dog factional fighting is a necessary part of this dismembering of the dictatorship.
The Mujuru faction is the less devisive and ruthless of the two factions in Zanu PF but that any look at VP Mujuru, Rugare Gumbo or any of the other leaders in her factions shows that they are just as corrupt and incompetent as the rest in the Mnangagwa factions. The people of Zimbabwe want the political stage swept clean of the Zanu PF dictatorship and not the half-way house shaking off one Zanu PF faction and retain the other half to continue to rule!
The only useful option for thr Mujuru faction in this clean-start scenario is for them to give the details of how last year’s elections were rigged and force the implementation of the reforms to stop future elections being rigged. They can then take their chance in the next free, fair and credible election on the same footing as everyone else.
Residents Relieve Themselves in Plastic Bags as Water Shortages Bite
Heavy rains may have pounded Gweru, but erratic water supplies in the city have continued causing residents to relieve themselves in plastic bags.
The development could result in an outbreak of serious diseases with areas like Mambo having to run without water for 5 years.
In other areas including Senga , Mkoba and Ascot suburbs, water supplies are abruptly cut at intervals of three weeks and in many other areas around the city, supplies are only available at night.
Although the city of Progress, Gweru which is celebrating 100 years with the theme “100 years of resilient progress”, provisions of safe drinking water and proper sanitation remain a pipe dream,34 years after the country ‘s independence from Great Britain.
In 2012 Gweru Town Clerk, Daniel Matawu announced that the problem would be a thing of the past as the council was by then replacing obsolete equipment, some of which he said was 50 years old.
Zimbabwe’s own constitution has enshrined the right to water and health, hence the government of the day should be committing to their obligation, residents have complained saying.
Efforts to contact Mr Matawu were fruitless by the time of posting.
CIOs Caught Red Handed in Kaukonde Fake Certificates Hoax
Central Intelligence Organization (CIO) agents of the Zimbabwe government have been caught red handed in the Ray-Kaukonde so called “Fake Certificate Scandal”. The move has seen the state media pitting an innocent disabled man in the same guilt ring with Mr Kaukonde, a disgraced ZANU PF businessman who faces academic certificate forgery allegations.
The State Media has misleadingly claimed that the bankrupt Ray(Joseph) Kaukonde has been building a house for Mr Tapiwa Chimbganda in order to silence him from revealing his (Kaukonde’s) crime of forgery. But Mr Chimbganda was not even in Zimbabwe when the alleged crime was committed and he had with him all his certificates with him in the United Kingdom where he was pursuing A Level studies. Subsequently he attended university in West Yorkshire. To this date Mr. Chimbganda still holds onto all his Ordinary and Advanced Level certificates that have remained intact and unblemished. That means if Kaukonde committed the alleged forgery, he could only have committed it under the full gaze of his employers (the ZANU PF government) utilising privileged remote intelligence access to national registry records, as ZimEye now exclusively reveals. Kaukonde has held several high profile government posts screened through the CIO since independence and in the 1980s being stationed at ZANU PF’s former headquarters at 88 Manica Road. He has been known and commonly associated with the personal company of President Robert Mugabe.
ZimEye tracked Mr Tapiwa Chimbganda’s footsteps in the United Kingdom and discovered that the victim was indeed on British soil for a prolonged time into the 1980s. This publication has also verified from impeccable records that, as contrarily stated by the Jona Moyo-controlled media under Zim papers, Mr. Chimbganda’s siblings in the United Kingdom have truly been building him without any funding from Ray Kaukonde. The key funder a well known London property mogul who is also Chimbganda’s younger sister, Morejoy Chimbganda, has been pouring out thousands in cash into the house for their brother’s house. To add to that, the troubled ZANU PF businessman, Kaukonde, could not have been able to afford such luxury as he has been failing to pay workers in his collapsing ventures in Zimbabwe.
Money transfer records over several years the state media could have easily perused, reveal the full funding for the building which has nothing whatsoever to do with the ‘disgraced’ Kaukonde.
Miss Chimbganda told ZimEye at the weekend, “They have put my brother, an extremely vulnerable disabled man into danger by linking him with things he has no connection with whatsoever and he neither supports Joice Mujuru.”
She continued, “It is true that Kaukonde was taken care of by my father as an orphan, but to link our family with his acts is ludicrous.
On the issue of the fake certificates, Miss Chimbganda questioned the shocking inconsistencies in the drama. “I cannot comment on the certificates matter as it is beyond my scope; but still Mr. Kaukonde worked for the government since 1981 when he gained access to employment while my brother was here in the UK. How come they did not detect that he was using fake certificates since they gave him several high profile jobs; and also how dramatic and obvious must that act of forgery have been seeing it would mean ink-blotting out both block surname and first name?,” she wondered.
Secret Mujuru Tapes: Mugabe Speaks Out
PRESIDENT ROBERT MUGABE yesterday for the first time since his wife went on a cyclonic anti-Mujuru rant, publicly knifed Vice President Joice Mujuru following the so called ‘secret Mujuru tapes’ handed him months earlier.
The tapes in Mugabe’s possession, replay a voice said to be that of Mujuru insulting and stating in chikorekore dialect that Mugabe has overstayed his welcome and he must leave. Click Here Read more – EXCLUSIVE – Mugabe’s Secret Spy Tapes of Mujuru ‘Saying Bob Resting on Own Faeces.’
Until yesterday analysts had speculated that Grace Mugabe was acting of her own volition in her countrywide crusade against Mujuru.
But Mugabe brought clarity to shore when he tore into Mujuru saying she is too simplistic to lead anyone.
“We are experiencing it (problems) for the first time in Zanu PF,” Mugabe told a group of senior ZANU PF politicians last night.
He continued,
“And for that matter it’s a woman who says she wants to lead.
“She doesn’t even ask whether she’s able to handle the country, the pressures.”
Mugabe linked up Mujuru with the MDC parties.
“We know the infiltration that has been going on, we know the discussions that have been going on that they will link up with the MDC and America and Britain will pour lots of money,” he said to applause from the delegates.
“That simplistic thinking, I don’t trust a white man at all.”
He added alleging that Mujuru was working with the MDC and this is evidenced in that she did not want the country to have elections last year.
“Mujuru didn’t want elections, why?,” he asked.
Mugabe said Western countries influenced a number of African countries and leaders to discourage Zimbabwe from conducting a run-off election after the inconclusive March 29, 2008 harmonised elections where MDC-T leader, Mr Morgan Tsvangirai led in the first round by securing just more than 47 percent while President Mugabe had 43 percent though Zanu-PF beat MDC-T in both houses of parliament amassing 45.94 percent of the vote to MDC-T’s 43.56 in the Senate; and 45.94 percent to 42.88 in the House of Assembly suffrage.
Yet the Constitution stated that for a Presidential candidate to be declared a winner, they were supposed to garner 50 plus one percent.
“Even Thabo Mbeki was saying no what use is there, the Europeans will not recognise you if you go for another election and win? Ah do I care for European recognition?
“The Inclusive Government was a humiliating thing but infact even in politics you must have also a strategy that ah now this is what needs to be done. And Jabulani (Sibanda) was saying ah matengesa kuti muve in association naTsvangirai. Even my child Bellarmine was saying ah mabva mukubata Tsvangirai handidi. Dad I won’t shake you. So you can see how humiliated I was. When you are rejected by your own son,” President Mugabe said.
He spoke of the alleged conspiracy by Mujuru,
“But I knew of course that well we would get them. Fine we worked together, I gave Tsvangirai tea. He thought I had put poison in the tea so I drank the tea and gave him. But later on he was asking for more like Oliver Twist. In the meantime we were building our party. Ivo vakanakirwa nawo saying no we should not have elections…
“Even our side, our people didn’t want elections. Vana Mai Mujuru didn’t want elections. Why? There you are. So we had those elections our own way and we emerged 31st July with that resounding victory,” said President Mugabe.
He said it was important for party cadres to remain steadfast on principles than sacrifice them for expediency or money.
He said some people including Americans and former Chinese ambassador to Zimbabwe Xin Shunkang thought Zanu-PF would lose the elections.
Mugabe thanked the war veterans for throwing their weight behind his sole candidacy at the Zanu-PF 6th National People’s Congress.
He said he would continue as President as long as God wished him to remain there.
Mugabe urged the war veterans to remain united and principled so that Government can recognise them even through creation of a specific ministry for them.
He said Government would endeavour to empower war veterans through various interventions.
Politburo Refuses To Fire Khaya Moyo
The Zanu PF Politburo has dismissed last minute petitions seeking the ouster of the party’s National Chairman and Spokesperson, Simon Khaya Moyo and Matabeleland South Minister of State, Abednico Ncube.
Sources attending the ruling party’s Politburo meeting say the last minute petitions have been dismissed and described as mischievous.
The petitions, triggered by a group of war veterans in Matabeleland South Province yesterday and endorsed by the Provincial Executive Committee, are said to have come too late and raised frivolous issues.
The provincial executive had sought the endorsement of the Politburo to have the vote of no confidence take effect.
Some of the issues raised against Khaya Moyo are said to be too old and too naïve to be raised on the 11th hour under such crucial issues taking place.

UK Fires Warning on Bloody ZANU PF Congress
The UK government has fired an emergency warning on ZANU PF’s National Congress and raised its risk rating on the meeting believed to be escalating into a bloody conflict.
The government in the last 24 hours has cautioned travelers and tourists to Zimbabwe urging them to be ready to be air-lifted at short notice if security deteriorates in the country as the ZANU PF congress roles out.
Following a purge on senior party members ahead of the congress by President Mugabe and threats by war vets aligned to Grace Mugabe to attack Joice Mujuru supporters if they set foot at the congress venue, expert indications show events are taking a bloody turn.
UK citizens have been told to avoid crowds, make security arrangements and be ready to leave the country at short notice if need be.
“Zimbabwe’s ruling party will be holding their national Congress in Harare from 3 to 6 December 2014. You should avoid large gatherings and demonstrations, follow the advice of local authorities and monitor local media.
“If you’re living in Zimbabwe, keep your security arrangements under close review, make sure your travel documents are up to date and readily available and have a contingency plan in place in case you need to leave at short notice.”
But the warning stated however that there is low threat from terrorism albeit the state risk.
“There is a low threat from terrorism,” it further read.
It continued, “Dual British-Zimbabwean nationals who wish to travel to Zimbabwe and return to the United Kingdom must have a valid travel document to re-enter the United Kingdom. It’s not possible to re-enter the UK using a Zimbabwean passport or emergency travel document without a visa or entry clearance endorsed.
Holiday and business visas are available at the port of entry. Don’t violate the terms of your visa.
Although the economic outlook in Zimbabwe improved under the 2009 to 2013, under the Government of National Unity, the economic situation is increasingly fragile with smaller banks facing difficulty.”
BREAKING NEWS: Jabulani Sibanda Crushes Mugabe in Court, Goes to Con-Court
Expelled war veterans Chairman Jabulani Sibanda came out walking in victory Tuesday afternoon crushing Robert Mugabe in the case he was accused of insulting the President through his bedroom coup complaint against Grace Mugabe.
Mr Sibanda now heads to the Constitutional Court after his bail application was granted. That was after the judges accepted that the State’s case against him was confined in the realm of Sibanda’s “constitutional rights as a citizen of Zimbabwe”.
ZimEye tracked Mr Sibanda as he walked out of court quiet but with a firm face consistent with his victory in the case which is set to create a precedent in all cases of so called “insults on the President”.
The State had sought to criminalise Sibanda’s complaint on Grace Mugabe’s attacks on Joice Mujuru as he repeatedly said: “Why does a national broadcaster give acres of space to Grace to attack the Vice President of the country?” He then said that Zimbabwe is not a monarchy, it is a Republic, also adding that war veterans will stand to defend their rights which are being infringed. State prosecutors however overzealously followed the layperson’s guidance of the vocal Buhera South legislator Joseph Chinotimba who insisted that Sibanda had insulted Mugabe and deserved to be punished for it.
ZANU-PF Truck Disses Mugabe, “Vote Of No Confidence in Bob” At Congress
As the ZANU PF Congress opened in Hararae Tuesday, a Zanu pf Nissan Hardbody was seen cruising around the central business district throwing flyers written on them “Vote Of No Confidence Mugabe. ” People scrambled for the fliers which were bearing ‘Vote of no confidence! Mugabe’. The identity of the driver could not be ascertained and neither the car’s registration number since it was continuously speeding off and not stopping at any corner. IN THE PICTURES – One of the flyers thrown off the vehicle….
The Vote of No Confidence term has become synonymous with ZANU (PF) since the entrance of President Robert Mugabe’s wife Grace into the main stream media as many from the Mujuru faction were unceremoniously kicked out.
People were however reluctant to pick up the fliers fearing victimization.
The fliers are believed to be coming from the Vice President Joice Mujuru faction which is being purged by Grace Mugabe
“The problem in Zimbabwe is that you never know who is who and if you take these things you might end up being followed even at home”, said a certain Mr Joseph. PICTURES:
Sex In The Bush: ZIMRA Boss Nearly Killed By Elephants
A married senior Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (Zimra) official and his girlfriend fled naked from a bush in Victoria Falls, where they were allegedly having sex when a herd of elephants invaded their love nest.
The hapless pair reportedly jumped into their branded Mazda B1800 vehicle and sped off, only to ram into a stationary haulage truck.
The incident that has set the resort town abuzz occurred at about 10PM on Thursday at the Stanley and Livingstone Hotel turn-off.
Jambo Nyongo, 47, a supervisor in charge of the registry department in Hwange and his alleged married lover Sophia Penga, 29, who is a security guard at Cobra Security Company were rushed to Victoria Falls General Hospital
Nyongo has since been discharged from hospital while Penga is still battling for life at the institution.
Good Samaritans who stopped to attend to the accident said Nyongo and Penga were only dressed in green vests.
Jabulani George Murapa who is the driver of the haulage truck that they rammed into said he found himself in a catch-22 as he could not put his hands on Penga to get her out of the car.
“The two accident victims were completely naked at the bottom while at the top they were putting on green vests.
“I had a breakdown near Masui Bridge in Victoria Falls and I put a reflective triangle as is the norm. At about 10PM, I saw a speeding Mazda B1800 belonging to Zimra and it went straight into the back of my truck.
“When other motorists and I got to the victims to help them, we were very shocked to see the two completely nude. I only managed to remove the driver from the car but didn’t know how I could help the naked woman who was screaming for help”, he said.
Nyongo confirmed that he was taken from the scene of the accident naked but attributed his nudity to poor services rendered by paramedics who attended the accident scene.
“Yes I was naked when I was removed from the car but this is because the paramedics who came to the scene cut our clothes off as they tried to rescue us from the wreckage.
“Allegations of sex or that this woman is my small house are unfounded. She is just my long-time friend,” he said.
Other sources close to the accident said Penga is a married woman who had left home in uniform purportedly going to work only to be involved in an accident while naked.
“We wonder how this happened. She left her home in uniform going to work but I don’t understand how her clothes were taken off and how she ended up in Victoria Falls,” said one source.
As word of the story spread like wildfire, there was mayhem at Victoria Falls General hospital with Chinotimba residents jostling to catch a glimpse of the naked couple when the ambulance arrived with the couple.
The officer commanding Victoria Falls Chief Superintendent Jairos Chiona declined to comment and referred questions to national police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba, who could not be reached on her mobile phone. chronicle
Sibanda Remains In Jail But Begs to Meet Mugabe to Reconcile
Expelled former War Veterans chairman Jabulani SIbanda is to remain in prison on charges of “Insulting President Robert Mugabe”.
Sibanda who is credited for inventing the term “Bedroom Coup,” referring to Mugabe’s Wife’s meteoric rise to power in which she sought to unseat outgoing Vice President Joice Mujuru, was last week slapped behind bars for the so called “crime” said to have been committed on the 27th October.
Even while in prison, Sibanda has continued in his request for a meeting with President Robert Mugabe to present his case that he did not insult the head of state but was only making a constitutional protest against the attacks on Vice President Joice Mujuru. He told ZimEye earlier,
“I know nothing about the attack of President Mugabe. I just started to hear about it on the 5th November from the newspapers…
“I know nothing about that.
“One thing I know is that I didn’t attend the (Grace Mugabe) rally because I was busy doing college work.
“I was not even compelled to attend the rally. If I wanted to attend the rally I would have attended but because that rally has developed some hatred and apparently people are fighting for power in the party I was not really interested. I couldn’t afford to substitute the work I was doing to unite in the party and join a group that uses power position and who are fighting for power.”
Appearing before magistrate Vakai Chikwekwe yesterday Sibanda was remanded in custody to Tuesday when his lawyer Sobusa Gula-Ndebele presents a bail application as well as pleas to have the trial relocated to his home town in Bulawayo.
Meanwhile State Prosecutor Jonathan Murombedzi alleged that on the 27th October Sibanda conducted an ‘illegal’ meeting at Herbert Mine in Mutasa where he insulted President Robert Mugabe saying he was using a coup to remove Mujuru and announcing that Grace Mugabe was launching a bedroom coup by attacking Vice President Joice Mujuru. In his speech Sibanda, who was addressing the gathering of freedom fighters converged at Herbert Mine where remains of 82 freedom fighters were exhumed from a disused mine shaft, said the Zanu PF Politburo is now dominated by power hungry people and as war veterans they will not allow them to prevail.
According to the State outline Sibanda also alleged that war veterans are being blocked from meeting President Mugabe, threatening to organise a march to State House to meet their patron if this continues.
Coal Brick Sees Growth In Coal Exports
“At first we feared the new players would eat into our market but we have seen exports doubling. We are now doing more than 10,000 tonnes per month for countries in the North,” he said.
Msipa added that demand especially in Zambia was high due to the resurgence of many copper mines.
Coal companies are also being attracted by the northern markets which reportedly offer better prices compared to South Africa.
Industry players say the state’s Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe applies a two-tier pricing system on coal, which puts the price at $180 per tonne when exporting to South Africa and $260 per tonne to the northern markets.
Coal Brick started operations in 2010, producing 500,000 tonnes of coal in its first year. The firm is owned by a consortium of investors – Redmagic Holdings, Pan African Energy, Liketh Union, Liketh Finance, Vulner Investments and Blackhealth Investments – all with a combined net asset value of $3,5 billion. _The source

VIDEO: Mujuru Shooting Down Rhodesian Helicopter, Sniper Surfaces
The real snipers who downed a Rhodesian helicopter previously credited to Vice President Joice Mujuru have come forward to present their evidence. VIDEO:
STATE MEDIA REPORT:
VICE President Joice Mujuru and her hangers-on misled the country when they claimed that she downed a helicopter at the height of the liberation struggle as she was nowhere near Murehwa when the incident happened.
War veteran and a member of the National Traditional Inheritance Kingdom, Cde Linda Mangwende, whose Chimurenga name was Sarudzai Nehanda, said VP Mujuru had been using her picture that was taken in 1978 to claim it was her after shooting down a helicopter.
War veteran and Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Christopher Mutsvangwa has already dismissed the VP’s claims saying it was propaganda being peddled by political commissar Cde Webster Shamu to prop up VP Mujuru’s bid to depose President Mugabe.
“VP Mujuru has been using my picture claiming it is her after shooting down a helicopter, but the truth of the matter is that that is my picture that was taken in 1978 when I was coming from Takawira Sector entering Tangwena Sector in Gaza province,” said Cde Mangwende in an interview with The Herald yesterday.
“I had left Cdes Kambanje (Tenzi Nehoreka) going to the sector where Cdes Aginyu Kambeu (the late General Amoth Chimombe), Freddy Matanga, Brigadier General Munemo, Grenjar Benhura, Tonderai Zimondi, Charles Munyoro and Tokwe were.
Play the video below:
“On the women side, it was myself, Lieutenant Colonel Mukurazhizha, Cde Muchaneta Plaxedes, the late Colonel Mlambo and Mabel Chinomona. We are the ones who used to carry materials.
“The people responsible for shooting down the helicopter are Cdes Dick Joboringo, Kambanje pa D-Level, Brian, Long Chase, Dangarembizi, Masweets, Gabarinocheka, Norest, Shungu and the late Bazvoka Chidemo.
“These are the people who brought down the helicopter not these lies about Joice Mujuru because at the time she was at Osibisa Nehanda.”
Cde Mangwende said she wanted VP Mujuru to pay her back all the money she gained for using her picture.
Cde Mangwende said the embattled VP must not claim to have downed the aircraft when she had not yet been trained.
Chief Nehoreka concurred with Cde Mangwende, saying VP Mujuru was nowhere near Murehwa when the helicopter was shot down.
“We don’t understand why she wants to lie because she was not there when we brought down that helicopter.
“The picture that she is claiming to be her is of Cde Mangwende when she had just left us. Mujuru was not part of the team that downed the helicopter,” he said.

Mujuru Finally Goes Home In Tears | Analysis
The events that have unfolded in Zanupf for the last months have taken the country by storm leading to Vice President Joice Mujuru today heading home in both ‘sighs and tears’ as she serves her last 24hours in the highest office next only to Robert Mugabe. Zanu Pf seems to be on a self destructive mode, the case of snake eating its own tail and body. The current winner is not clear between President Mugabe and the Mnangagwa camp, however the biggest loser in the contest is clearly the incumbent Vice president Joice Mujuru.
Vice president Mujuru until recently was the leading candidate to succeed President Mugabe. Mujuru is the most senior person in Zanupf structures after the president, and has been the vice president for the last ten years. It seemed all along that, she had somehow outmaneuvered her arch rival in the race of succession, with nine of ten provinces being under her loyalists. The turn of events, however may mean Mujuru has blown the golden opportunity or to put in politely she had let the opportunity to slip off her hands. She dismally failed to play her cards well in time. The English language has an interesting adage, that talks about striking when the iron is hot. However it seems Mujuru failed to read and interpret the temperatures and the iron has now cooled and solidified.
Mujuru is a decorated 2nd Chimurenga fighter. She is one of the most famous fighters of that era,to cap her achievements, until recently she was believed to have downed a Rhodesian helicopter with a machine gun.The helicopter incident has been vehemently rubbished by other freedom fighters ,like Ambassador Christopher Mutsvangwa the new Warveterans leader. For today, there is no need to dwell on the authenticity of the helicopter incident, Her uncontested profile so far, is that she fought against colonialism.
At independence in 1980, she became the youngest cabinet minister at the age of 25 years, an impressive record indeed. She has been in cabinet for the last 34 years, along side Robert Mugabe, Emmerson Munangagwa and Sydney Sekeramayi. Among the portfolios she had held is the Post and Telecommunications, where she is remembered well for stifling development in that sector by denying Econet Wireless a licence along side Robert Mugabe.
She steadily climbed the political ladder under the tutelage of her late husband, the first black commander of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, the late General Solomon Mujuru, another decorated 2nd Chimurenga hero. Her husband seemed not to be interested in direct power, he was just sort of a king maker running things to a certain extent from behind scenes. Naturally as the king maker, he enjoyed enormous privileges that are not dreamt by the average citizen.
As a result of those privileges, he earned a notorious reputation of accumulating a sizable estate in the most unscrupulous means among others extortion and racketeering. These stated means were revealed by the then Zimplats Chairman David Brown, in a Wikileaks cable, the then retired General approached Zimplats, promising to protect the company from indigenisation in exchange of stake in the company.God knows how many businesses were victimised like this, these unscrupulous means seem to have been adopted by Vice President also, this is according to the erratic and loose tongued Grace Mugabe, a fellow fake Doctorate holder. Many other corruption deals were also reported in 2011, where it was understood the Mujurus were smuggling gold worth about $35 million per month out of the country with their Spanish son in law playing the front.
Mujuru’s career soared in 2004, when She was promoted by Robert Mugabe to the position of vice President ahead of the then party favourite Emmerson Munangagwa. The move was one of Mugabe’s grandstanding tactics of clipping wings of over ambitious lieutenants .Hence to Mugabe it was better to be surrounded by weak deputies, devoid of ambitions to secure his long cherished dream of becoming a permanent resident of the statehouse. Mujuru then was not the most senior person even among women, it is obviously that her husband played a role in securing the position. She unwittingly revealed this, when She accused youths of harassing her, because her husband is no more. While we sympathise with her for losing her husband under a mysterious fire.Politics is not for the faint hearted especially in Africa. No one should be treated with kids gloves because they are widows or orphans, those who want such treatment should leave politics.Leadership is the ability to rise beyond these challenges.
Mujuru’s effectiveness as a leader was yet to be seen, she was just among others passengers in the Bob driven train. Her first watershed test came sometime in the beginning of this year when her loyalist in parastals were exposed for stripping and plundering these state enterprises. The publishing of these extravagant salaries earned by CEOS of bleeding parastals left the public enraged. The salaries were way higher than what the average worker can never earn in a lifetime, half millions etc.
Mujuru scored her own goal when she went on a crusade against the state media for publishing such abuse of public money. She went on a rampage jibes obviously aimed at the minister of information who was using the media, accusing him of trying to destroy Zanupf from within. To the public it was obvious that Mujuru did not care about plundering of state resources, She preferred impunity over justice. The theft of public funds by her lieutenants does not matter, it should be just swept under the carpet. Thus Mujuru proved that she was not a reformist, she was worse than Mugabe in terms of nurturing corruption. Mugabe at least is known for empty barks against the rampant corrupt to lull public anger, like Godwills Masimbarembwa and a few caught off guard.
In this case it could have been nobler for Mujuru to remain silent than blessing grand theft.
It cannot be dismissed that Mujuru could see where the hatchet was pointed to.The Ngwena strategy seem to have been first to isolate the victim, take the fish out of the water and make it powerless. Mujuru fell for the trap and thus disqualified herself, she proved that integrity an transparency is not high on her agenda. While it is public knowledge, that Zanupf is a breeding ground for corruption, it is fatal for an aspiring president to show such indifference to the vice.
The next opportunity presented itself for Mujuru to assert her leadership and yet again, she failed to seize the opportunity. When Grace Mugabe was unleashed under the guise of meet the people rallies across the country, she viciously went on tantrums against Mujuru for being incompetent and corrupt first in parables then finally in open language. These charges are true, but none is Zanupf is clean from these two charges. When Mujuru saw that her house was on fire, she kept quite, believing that silence was golden. This rule is not always true especially in politics. Mujuru went on to organise a graduation party for her controversial PHD like that of the first lady. During the party she praised President Mugabe and credited the Phd to him, she refered him to as a father. Thus Mujuru reaffirmed her unquestionable allegiance to Mugabe at a time where she was supposed to confront Mugabe to bridle his wife. She proved that she is just a puppet without rigorous ambition. Mujuru chose to charm an angry snake instead of hitting it or running away. This did not stop Grace, it seemed Mujururu’s action was well ready as someone who could not strike back, Grace eventually called for her outright resignation.
The next wave saw votes of no confidence being passed against all perceived Mujuru sympathisers. Once again Mujuru did not see it fit to defend her victimised allies, her foot soldiers fell by the way side without any public assurance. This was clearly the greatest sign of lack of strategy and being spineless. she just sat down and watched as her foot soldiers were being purged. Provincial leaders and structures that were aligned to her, were all mercilessly purged without proper procedures even by Zanupf ambiguous standards. One fails to understand how Mujuru intended to remain in power without structures backing her.Once again She proved her indecisiveness by not acting or uttering anything.
In a heavily mercenarised organisations like Zanupf, where many are just there for the benefits , it is obvious that betrayals and opportunism is rampant. Most people will just wait and see were the current is flowing to , before jumping in that direction. In actual fact, people in such organisation have no preferred candidate except the winning one.The patronage systems concentrates rewards and punishment in the hands of those in power. Thus failure to be good books with those in power may mean loss of privileges and reprisals. As Magareth Dongo rightly noted the levels of cowardice in the party, when she called Zanupf leaders Mugabe’s wives. Soon the remaining loyalist saw the warning shots and gave up, switched their allegiances . A good example is one youth leader started calling the first family alphas and omega of the revolution. What a pathetic young person!
Mujuru was further to embarrass herself by submitting her name for the Vice presidency at the congress only to be told that, the position would not be contested. The president will appoint the Vice president and the national chairman. This sealed Mujuru’s fate, as it was not enough her own district refused to nominate her for central committee, meaning that after congress should whoever is the president not appoint her, she could become ordinary Zanupf card caring member. When Mujuru saw that things were falling apart she should have been bold and declared her candidacy for president of the party. Whether rules or whatever were changes she could have appealed to more people, even opposition supporters. This was a golden opportunity for her, bearing in mind that the opposition is in its lowest ebb.The strategy of her opponents work,ed she have been stripped of all power form structures and sympathy of the ordinary man who often saw her as a better devil.
Thus Mujuru might be still retained as a harmless ceremonial vice president, and would never be a threat to president.Hence Mujuru’s chances of becoming the next president are ranging from nill to rare. Her spinelessness, indecisiveness, callow and lack of strategy has proven that she is no leadership material .

“We Cannot Remain Prisoners of Fear”: Rugare Gumbo Speaks
Rugare Gumbo Interview With Zimbabwe Independent
SUSPENDED Zanu PF spokesperson Rugare Gumbo (RG), who unwaveringly stood behind under-fire Vice-President Joice Mujuru as he demanded Zanu PF must resolve its succession conundrum at congress next week, has opened up on the tumultuous events rocking the faction-riddled party, and how he feels betrayed by party leader President Robert Mugabe.
In a wide-ranging interview with the Zimbabwe Independent political reporter Elias Mambo (EM) this week, Gumbo ominously said all progressive forces being purged ahead of congress will not watch forever as their party is destroyed from within by opportunists and infiltrators.
Below are excerpts:
EM: Where to now after your five-year suspension from the politburo?
RG: I have always been on the battlefront all my adult life and I remain resolute that the struggle has to be fought. I am not out. I will make sure the people of Zimbabwe get their freedom and my views of genuine freedom will never be compromised. I will never deviate from principle.
EM: How are you going to continue the fight since you have been booted out of Zanu PF?
RG: Revolutions are fought from different angles. I will continue fighting on behalf of the people to ensure freedom, economic recovery and development.
EM: Do you regret speaking out? Do you feel you owe the President an apology?
RG: Hahaha! I am not apologetic for whatever I have been saying. That has always been my stance and there is nothing to apologise for. Zimbabweans want real issues to be resolved and not for us to remain prisoners of fear.
The succession issue is wreaking havoc with the turnaround of this economy. It cannot be ignored. So why should I apologise? For what? Focused leadership should be aware that one day leadership will change and this calls for robust discussion and not to whip people into line and suppress debate on such a crucial issue.
EM: Take us through events of that fateful day when you were suspended. Were you aware of your impending fate?
RG: I was shocked. Not only me, but everyone else. I knew there were plans to deal with me maybe after congress but not on that day. I was not given a chance to defend myself on the allegations levelled against me and I was not happy that a very junior person (Edson Chakanyuka, Zanu PF Youth League deputy secretary) who has no clue of how this country came to being was used to move a motion to suspend me.
I am a veteran of the struggle and that is not questionable. Mugabe should have moved in to stop that madness considering my role in the liberation struggle and independent Zimbabwe. He should have considered that instead of allowing a representative of a faction that wants power to push me out. Obviously, it was pre-planned and Mugabe knew about it.
EM: And how did the others react, especially those who subscribe to your views of the need for a robust discussion on the succession taboo?
RG: Everyone was shell-shocked. They were taken by aback and no one thought it would come to this. They were scared and there was no dissenting voice to stop the motion. They all kept quiet. I felt that Mugabe should have engaged me before the politburo and not expose me to open attacks.
I was never elected into this position. He appointed me so he betrayed me in the sense that he used some people to help him boot me out. He appointed me so he was supposed to be the person who should have told me openly that he is dropping me, not some dubious character who is ignorant of the history of the struggle and is being used by those who are power hungry. As they say, the one who appoints can also disappoint.
EM: What was your reaction?
RG: I stood up and told Mugabe that I was leaving since I no longer had any role to play. Why would I have wasted my time when I had been chucked out?
EM: What did he say?
RG: He said he thought I should wait until the politburo was over.
EM: And what about the allegations that you wanted to topple or even assassinate Mugabe and replace him with Mujuru?
RG: Pure lies. Blatant lies being peddled by the faction that wants to take over power. It is not possible after having spent my life serving the party to think of overthrowing a sitting president.
I have done nothing wrong. Supporting Mujuru is not a crime. She is the number two in command and if anything happens to the president she is entitled by the constitution of this country to take over. She should be supported and we should not apologise for that.
The president himself said so in 2004. Are we selling out if we are supporting his deputy? No! She is not an enemy so she needs our support.
EM: Are you saying you support the Mujuru faction?
RG: I do not have a faction. I support Mujuru because naturally she was supposed to take over. Mugabe should also support her because he groomed her and that is not a crime.
EM: Do you think Mujuru will take over given how events are taking place in Zanu PF?
RG: Mujuru is going to survive. She is strong and she has a very strong support base. She is well-groomed and mature. There is nothing to stop her from taking over in future.
EM: But those who are supporting her are being purged just like you. How will she survive at congress?
RG: Those suspensions and removals are illegal. They are unwarranted, they are unfair, uncalled-for and they do not consider the contributions of those people to the struggle and development of this country.
EM: But the removed people will not take part at congress? So what will happen?
RG: If Mugabe is given the power to appoint, then it ceases to be an elective congress. In fact that congress is now a sham because illegal structures will be playing crucial roles. Those acting chairpersons are not elected individuals and the constitution does not allow that.
The whole congress is a non-event because the constitution has been manipulated and violated, so where is democracy. It is not a congress at all. It’s a charade.
EM: But it will go ahead as planned and you and others will be left out. What are you going to do?
RG: It is up to the people to react to that. All those sidelined democratic forces can raise their concerns.
EM: Are you saying those people may form their own party?
RG: I am saying people will not sit and accept injustice forever. They will not accept a leadership that is not focused and which they would not have voted for. It is not a people-chosen leadership.
EM: Lastly, are we seeing the end of Zanu PF?
RG: Zanu PF is above any individual. We will not allow our party to be destroyed from within. Those who have highjacked the party will soon realise that power belongs to the people and not them.
Ebola Vaccine Breakthrough At Last
BBC|The devastation of the Ebola outbreak in parts of West Africa has been one of the most shocking and distressing stories of the year.
Tonight there is a glimmer of hope – the first evidence that a vaccine could be available for health workers and others battling to bring the virus under control.
Ultimately, it could mean a vaccine for everyone in areas at risk.
Sir Andrew Witty, the chief executive of GSK, told the BBC that new clinical data published tonight was “very encouraging” and that a viable vaccine could be available in the second half of next year – If these early trials continue to provide positive results.
‘Very encouraging’
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) in America has just released the first trial data for the vaccine that GSK is working on in its laboratories in Italy and Belgium.
Twenty adults were tested and an immune response to Ebola was prompted in each of them. The vaccine was also “well tolerated” by each of the people tested.
“It’s a very encouraging first signal,” Sir Andrew told me.
“Whether it’s a breakthrough depends on making sure that all the rest of data over the next few weeks and months is in line. But this certainly gives us very significant cause for optimism.
“We’ve been looking at a potential Ebola vaccine, we’ve been looking at its basic safety and whether or not it can generate an immune response in healthy volunteers – and the data is very encouraging.
“But we need to put it into context – this is a very accelerated development programme and this is the first bit of data.
“It’s the first piece of what will be a jigsaw of information that we are going to gather over the next five or six weeks before we move to the next stage.”
Further trials
“We are busy working out how we scale up manufacturing capacity, so that as we move into the second half of next year we would be in a position to manufacture very large quantities”
Of course, as Sir Andrew says, any developments must be kept in perspective and there are a number of other trials still to report this year.
Any of those could throw up major problems in the vaccine’s progress
Pastor adopts Ten Orphans from Ngozi Dumpsite and Sidojiwe
Bulawayo- Pastor Tapiwa Maponga, who is a founding Director of Educate a Child Foundation Trust, a Bulawayo based non-profit making organisation, has adopted ten from hundreds of homeless children who have been dumped by the City Council, in their effort to clean up the city centre for Youths games, which are starting this week.
The Bulawayo based and Masvingo born man of the cloth will pay for their school fees and their upkeep at their church base.
“I read about this sad story from your publication last week, and I made efforts to visit the mentioned places, and found out that there are kids with the ability to go to school. I also visited Sidojiwe flats where a good number of orphans are staying and also found heart breaking situations. I will fight to help them acquire birth certificates with relevant authorities and start paying their school fees from January next year,” said Pastor Maponga.
Last week ZimEye carried a story on the dumping of street children at Bulawayo’s biggest dumping site. Bulawayo Mayor Councillor Martin Moyo, vehemently denied ever carrying that exercise, but ZimEye visited the area and found hundreds of street children dumped in the area, with a number of vagrants, also dumped there in an effort to clean the city, in preparation for forthcoming youth games this week.
Pastor Maponga also attended one of the Sidojiwe Pre-School graduations during the weekend, a product of his sponsorship which he started early this year as a pilot project for the disadvantaged children.
The Pastor has since started paying school fees for the Sidojiwe orphans, who will be in grades one to seven respectively.
Bikita Grandfather Caught Having Sex With Close Relatives, Witchcraft and Mubobobo
A 67 year old grandfather and former British South African Police Officer (BSAP) whose name is in ZimEye’s possession, has been caught having sex with multiple sex sessions forcing himself on his closest relatives.
The man who cannot not be named for security reasons, was reportedly “caught” by a spiritualist in what is said to be “a vision” and when confronted without delay confessed to sleeping with his relatives wives, sisters, daughters and villagers wives using mubobobo and juju, which he named as ‘Murima’ literally meaning in the middle of a dark night.
The situation came to light when a neighbour and close relative’s wife got seriously ill at the end of November, without hope for recovery from medical experts. The families of the victim decided to consult faith healers and prophets from spiritualist churches, leading to this revelation.
Wedzerai Mapetere, who is a close relative of the perpetrator, gathered family members to solve his wife’s mysterious ill health problems. They discovered that his wife was a victim to this man. He told ZimEye how their big brother plays evil to the family. “He would follow our wives to the bush where they will be helping themselves, as you know that in rural areas, there are very few toilets. On this, he would propose love to relatives’ wives and if they refuse, he will make love to them at night using mubobobo,” said Wedzerai.
Another relative, Sharai Chibi told ZimEye that their elder brother would even enter their bedroom in the middle of the night, and have sex with them. “He would enter our place where we sleep and we will see that this guy is our brother. It will be more like a dream. He would then remove our pants and have sex with the three of us without having power to cry or shout for help. After having sex with us, he would not say anything but put back his privates and zip on, before walking out of our closed door,” narrated Sharai.
ZimEye managed to interview the faith healer and prophet, and he agreed after a thorough body search of recorders and cameras from this reporter. The witchcraft hunter refused to be photographed for fear of other witch hunters who he said mighty jeopardise his spiritual healing prowess.
The faith healer who preferred to be called murapi Podzai , told ZimEye that he trapped evil doers in their own backyard and with the accused, he videographed him in an impeccable vision which has precise details which he cannot deny. “I am a freeman who can help end evil situations at homes. I do not show off to anyone but I just do my work easily,” he boasted.
Efforts to get comment from Chief Marozva in whose jurisdiction the evil happenings occurred were fruitless by the time of going to press as he was said to be in Harare for the ZANU Pf congress.
Mnangagwa Humiliated by Dynamos, Bosso Supporters
Presidential aspirant Emmerson Mnangagwa launching the Gushungo Cup, was yesterday left with an egg on his face when Dynamos and Bosso fans decided to ignore him and stay at home.
Mnangagwa is rumoured to have been trying to strike a spark with President Robert Mugabe by launching the Gushungo Cup just in time for the crunch national congress when a Presidential successor should be chosen. Mnangagwa had hoped the stadium would be full to the brim. But a handful fans less than three hundred came over .
Mnangagwa had been expecting over 60,000 people and on the reason why only the two teams were chosen, Gushungo Victory Cup chairman Blessed Mushando said they
“…chose Dynamos and Highlanders because these are two of the country’s football giants. They are crowd pullers and again these are the two teams that finished first and second respectively last year (in the PSL).”
Following the match in which Dynamos beat Bosso 3-2 via penalty shootout, Mnangagwa who awaits being appointed Vice President at the congress this week , posed for photographs with DeMbare captain Murape Murape.

PROPHECY: Date For Mugabe’s Sudden Exit
At a time when many preachers are staying away from predicting dates and events in defined content, a UK based ‘prophet’ has declared the first time-specific prediction as he says when the Mugabe dynasty will exit the scene and be forgotten forever.
Prophet Austin Moses who in June predicted what he said was a big tree falling down with its branches, foretelling of the shocking Mujuru purges, fearlessly declared that Mugabe’s era will be over in a few months’ time.
Pharaoh’s era is ending, said Moses.
When questioned on the date, he did not waste a breath declaring almost instantly that it will be before the end of 2016 when the Mugabe dynasty will be forgotten forever.
“It will be between 2015 and 2017”, he said…
The London based pastor said Zimbabweans all over the world will soon be returning to their country as God is restoring Zimbabwe’s international status.
He said there would be great changes between now and 2017 and Zimbabweans must pray.
“According to what the lord revealed to me, I saw many people, Zimbabweans returning back home. God is in the middle of returning the country back to its origins. It shall never be a desolate country any more. I am not a Zimbabwean, but I say what God has asked me to say, ” he said.
He continued, “the rein of Pharaohs in the land of Zimbabwe is coming to an end. The Lord revealed to me that between 2015 and 2017 He is returning Zimbabwe, ” he said.
Prophet Austin Moses is based in North London and has to his credit several accurate predictions including that of the Ukrainian crisis where after noticing the strength of his predictions, the Ukrainians soon extended a VIP invitation for him to grace their country.

Adriano Shoniwa The only way to achieve change is to understand the change process!A struggle that is supposed to take 6months can take several years!A struggle requires gaining an insight of how a system is operating, where and how it derives its power!Revolutionary parties” appeal” more to rural populace while oppostion parties are well grounded in urban politics!Revolutionary parties just need to neutralise urban votes! As long as your focus is “Mugabe,Mugabe!” even if he is gone pf will remain a cancer to live with!If it were nt for rural votes. It is high time opposition parties in Africa are not seen as fronts of western countries so that they are received well in rural areas!Rural people are “wise”!You should be very convincing to change them, they are highly conservative!!Hee! Mwonzora Released On Bail
MDC-T secretary-general Douglas Mwonzora, who was arrested on charges of fraud, has been released on US$500 bail. Mwonzora on Saturday appeared before Harare magistrate Mr Milton Serima, who granted him US$500 bail coupled with reporting conditions. Prosecutor Miss Sharon Mashavira alleges that Mwonzora misappropriated US$15 000 in trust funds.
Mwonzora yesterday said he was released after paying US$500 bail.
“It is the usual story about me where the enemies of democracy want to fight my career as a lawyer and politician by making spurious allegations. The good thing is I will always win because God and justice are on my side,” he said.
Meanwhile, the former Copac co-chair will today be in Rusape for trial together with some 31 MDC-T party followers from Nyanga North.
They are accused of assaulting Zanu-PF supporters.
According to the State, in February 2011, Mwonzora and MDC-T supporters held a meeting at Chatindo School, Nyamaropa, where Zanu-PF youths wanted to play social soccer.
The State alleged the group, at the instigation of Mwonzora, attacked Zanu-PF youths and forcibly ejected them from the school.
It is the State’s case that some of the youths were injured and rushed to the nearby Regina Coeli Hospital, where Mwonzora and his co-accused followed them and damaged some buildings. – Herald
Mwonzora allegedly vanished from the scene following the arrival of the police.
Matabeleland Must Break Out Now
As vividly evidenced by the current political upheavals, the surrogate mother Zimbabwe is moaning, what you see happening now is nothing more than labour pain. Those in the know will tell you that at this crucial point, the one who is pregnant is in extreme pain, weak and unable to control the events. What an opportunity, Break out of the womb of oppression Matabeleland !
At this moment in time it is vital to know our foes and comrades and the wolves in sheep skin. In order to deceive us the Zimbabweans come dangling meaningless unit accords and constitutions that do not give us Political POWER but define our stake as second class citizens in Zimbabwe. A lot of energy, ink and paper is wasted on such useless documents in which those of Zimbabwean origin are listed as first class citizens and are unashamedly awarded top influential positions while Matabeles are used as political artifacts merely to attract Matebele vote and give a semblance of ethnic unity, yet the sum total of such arrangement is meant to gradually decimate the Matebele nation. It has become clear to MLO that the greatest bulwark against Matebeleland independence and sovereignty is our own brothers who co operate and abet the Zimbabwean politicians to resist our demand for sovereignty. Can our brothers for the love of money be allowed to continue to sell out and assist the enemy to impose servitude on our people ? For how long should this be allowed to continue ? Its time all matebele people must stand up, identify them and reject the sell outs. Lets us Name and Shame them.
In the current zanu pf dog eat dog succession battle two Zimbabweans Joyce Majru and Mugabe are battling it out for the highest office in their party. Where are Matabeles in that set up? Yes they know their place they will not even dare throw themselves into the masters only presidential ring , they are at the bottom divided between Mujuru,Mnangagwa and Mugabe factions, fighting hard to be noticed by the masters with the hope of getting some kind of position in the aftermath. This time around it is not even clear if the position of second vice president, which is usually reserved for second class Matabele, will be given to a none Zimbabwean.
The MDC T congress which ended a few weeks ago announced a Zimbabwean Morgan Tsvangirai aka “Matebele leaders are termites” as President. As is the norm with all Zimbabwe political projects, Thokozani Khuphe (Matebele) was given a ceremonial vice president position and the rest of meaningful positions were distributed among the shona.
Not to be outdone, the Democratic Union announced Mrs Holland aka ” King Mzilikazi and his mob of cow thieves are a violent lot” (Zimbabwean) as President and Welshman Ncube(matebele) as vice president. The pattern continues to replicate itself.
MLO is deeply worried about the false narrative preached by our matebele brothers who belong to Zimbabwean political parties that our grievances would disappear with the departure of President Robert Mugabe. This narrative premises our political grievances to be equal to those of Zimbabweans yet our political grievances are not equal and would not disappear with the departure of Robert Mugabe. MLO would like to put it on record that Matebeleland grievances are premised on
i the loss of Matebeleland political independence and sovereignty since 4 November 1893
ii genocide and gross abuse of human rights suffered since 4 November 1893 up to date
iii loss of political and economic power, identity and dignity
iv potential annihilation of Matebele nation by Zimbabwe s political architeture
It is clear that none of the above grievances would be solved by any of the Zimbabwean political leaders because of Robert Mugabe’ s departure.
The above events solidly confirm that all Zimbabwe political projects are citadels of tribalism and shona supremacy, as all top positions are strictly a reserve for shona and no one else and whole heartedly embraced and endorsed by our matebele brothers in those parties.. And that no one in the opposition or ruling party is prepared to change the status quo. Are those Matebeles participating in those foreign parties too blind to see such day light political robbery? Are they not aware that taking part in the politics of Zimbabwe legitimizes their own oppression and that of Mthwakazi? We have run out of energy to comfort the so called prodigal sons when they come back to us crying after they are rejected by their masters. Please do not sell your dignity, identity, culture, people and country to foreigners for a few pieces of silver and material things.
We must take a lief from the book of our ancestors who were real warriors who knew neither fear nor cowardice. They were not only nation builders but clearly understood the meaning of territory, statehood, sovereignty and self determination. Those were heroes who were always alert and knew the harsh consequences of losing all of the above and that it takes a brave man/woman who is prepared to shed sweat and blood to defend one’s territory . That’s why the brave and selfless heroes gave their all including their lives when they fought pioneers who were armed to the teeth with weapons of mass destruction while they themselves were armed only with spears and shields. As Mao said sometime back, “power grows out of the barrel of a gun.” It is the power of the Maxim gun that determined the outcome in that battle and that marked the beginning of all troubles for Matebeles as Matebeleland was captured through conquest and is still under captive rule run by the client Zimbabwe government on behalf of the British government.
Matebeles of the 19th century had a duty to defend the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Matebeleland, and that they did with fierce bravery, commitment and determination. Whatever weapon was at their disposal they used to fight off the invasion by the white pioneers. Our duty as a generation of today is to reclaim and restore our statehood. MLO is very conscious that this will not be easy nor a stroll in the park. Many unpleasantries would be met along the way as some of our own brothers would stand against the revolution for filthy pieces of silver. We must act collectively as political engines that will pull our nation towards the sovereign and independent Republic of Matebeleland.
However the independent and sovereign Republic of Matebeleland will not fall from heaven like mana nor will it be given on a silver platter. The situation demands that all able bodied Matebeles stand up and be ready to liberate themselves. We urge all our young men to throw away the cloak of fear and cowardice and join the revolutionary MLO to fight for your independence and sovereignty. What joy do you get by being submissive and tolerant to second class citizenship. Its time to stand up and be counted and make history. Do not be ashamed to stand for your freedom and identity. Do not be a coward to fight for your country and sovereignty but be ashamed to be called a Zimbabwean. MLO continues to receive solidarity messages from many countries and all who stand for justice, freedom and sovereignty of The Republic of Matebeleland. MLO continues to receive messages of solidarity and support from urbanites, rural people and all matebeles in the diaspora confirming that there is no alternative to Matebeleland independence and sovereignty. Remember that, “People are the sea in which the revolution swims.” Without people there is no revolution so every Matabele has an important role to play in our struggle. Licking our wounds and complaining about oppression behind closed doors or in the streets should be a thing of the past as it will not take us anywhere. Come out of facebook, come out of all hiding places and openly support Matabeleland independence cause, its your cause.
Let’s invoke that warrior spirit in us, the spirit of patriotism, the spirit of unity and togetherness as exhibited by our heroic forefathers who chose to die while fighting the demon of colonialism than to look the evil of oppression in the eye. There is absolutely no crime in demanding back our country which was violently and illegally taken from us. There is nothing and totally nothing to fear or feel guilty about, we shall unapologetically stand in the open or mountain tops and demand our freedom no matter what it takes. Until the republic of Matabeleland is free then shall we keep quiet. The right time is now when the guns of the oppressors are pointed at each other’s head.
All Matebeles must stand up for Matebeleland Independence and Sovereignty by 2018 or thereabout. Join MLO revoltion NOW

LATEST ON Beitbridge Fire: No Compensation for Victims
There will not be any at all compensation for victims of the Beitridge fire which gutted a warehouse at the border post destroying property worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
People who lost their belongings which were held by the customs department will have to forget it since the goods were not insured, a ZIMRA official told ZimEye.
While the cause of the fire to date is not yet known, forensic experts were yesterday Saturday still scraping for clues albeit with limited resources.
Nothing was left in shape in the Thursday fire after firefighting equipment had to be borrowed from across the border to stop the inferno which took more than five hours to put out.
Goods housed in the warehouse consist of those either routinely confiscated at Beitbridge whenever people fail to pay duty for them, or posted cargo in transit to or from South Africa.

Sikhala Treason Charges Flop as Wiwa Walks Out Free, “A Hero”
Charges of treason against MDC founding member Job Sikhala flopped on Thursday resulting in Wiwa walking out “a hero” as described by some.
Sikhala stormed out of police cells after his brief incarceration the night before having been arrested in Beitbridge on charges of plotting to asssassinate President Robert Mugabe.
The cops produced a dodgy recording purporting to be his voice and were dressed down by his layer Alec Muchadehama.
Announcing his release, Sikhala said in full: “I am just waking up now after my release from the hands of Robert Mugabe’s evil securocrats who tormented me from yesterday in the morning to early hours of today trying to squeeze charges that I am plotting the tyrant’s overthrow.
“I told them that it is not only my desire to see Mugabe gone but it is the wish shared by million of Zimbabweans both locally and in the diaspora including the majority in his own party. I told them though it is the wish of us millions, I haven’t yet started plotting his downfall.
“Asking for evidence about the plot, they produced an inaudible voice recorder which makes the Ari Ben Menashe one the best recordings in the world. You can hardly hear anything. It must have been an attempt to create my voice from some stupid idiot from the street. Even Alic Muchadehama who led the entourage of lawyers who came to fight the battle laughed at them that they appeared stupid. There was nothing, nothing except the inaudible recording. They thought by endless interrogation I can incriminate myself not knowing I have gone through their stupid ways of interrogations even under their torture.
“Evil failed to prevail. When Muchadehama challenged them whether they have found a charge against his client, they only blinked their eyes, clearly frustrated. When he demanded for my immediate release they could not stop the inevitable. My dear brothers and sisters, when your conscience tells you that you are fighting for the good don’t be afraid of these evil men and women among ourselves used to subject us into servitude. Dying fighting for a noble cause for generations to come is an honour.
“We should never get frustrated by these incercerations but we must be embodied to fight for a just cause. There is no tomorrow in Mugabe and his crew. He has to go. The true people’s’ plot is coming. It’s truly coming and it will be people driven. The country is pregnant with anger. I am also angry. Let’s wait for the day.”

Biti and Ncube
It was never an issue - “Party boss is not Tendai Biti”
The unification of the MDC led by Welshman Ncube and the MDC Renewal is going ahead contrary to claims in a local daily which alleged that the two groups are at loggerheads over the corporate name and party colours.
ZimEye is reliably told that the deal signing due tomorrow, a thorn in Morgan Tsvangirai’s ankle, is proceeding without fail.
The MDC Renewal Spokesman Jacob Mafume said there is “no truth at all,” in the claim that the two groups are split over identity and colours.
“The colour issue has been resolved amicably. The ceremony is going on” he said.
He continued, “it was never an issue. Green and orange go very well …the leaves are green and fruits are orange. A combination of which is easy on the eye who did that story.”
On the name for the merged party, Mafume replied saying “for now the party is the United MDC…A name will be unveiled after an intensive rebranding exercise …,” he said.
He also revealed that the party will not be led by Tendai Biti as previously speculated in the state media.
“It has co presidents and a president will be selected at the combined congress together with other office bearers,”
BREAKING NEWS: Bloodbath in Shamva as Goche’s Farm Faces Invasion
UPDATED 1300Hrs : A gang of youths are currently gathered at Nicholas Goche’s farm since 6am waiting for brutal fight as former CIO head and Labour Minister Nicholas Goche’s Ceres farm faces an imminent invasion.
Youths waiting to kill were seen at the massive property this morning lurching for invaders.
“They were brought in a Mr Goche’s request since there is speculation that a rival group led by Grace Mugabe’s Cde Shereni Munetsi is on its way to invade the farm,” a source told ZimEye.
“They situation is very tense,” they added without going into anymore detail.
Another source alleged Goche, one of Zimbabwe’s most feared freedom fighters, has instructed “his boys” to attack and kill any suspects at the farm.
The much feared Goche was at the weekend accused by President Robert Mugabe of allegedly plotting to asssassinate him. Greeting Goche who has been finger-pointed by State media as being at the heart of plots to assassinate Mugabe before the meeting at the Zanu PF headquarters, Mugabe said, “Uri kunangwa uroyi (you are being fingered in witchcraft)”. He then went on to recite a famous old song, “Ndiwe muroyi ndiwe, ndiwe wapedza hama (literally meaning, you are the wizard who has killed all the people)”. The Jonathan Moyo-controlled newspaper, The Herald, carried another story on Goche yesterday alleging that he had uttered treasonous words when he recently held meetings with officials from the Zimbabwe Sugar Cane Milling Union in Chiredzi.
“Yamunayo kuno haisi hondo, real war is coming ahead of the congress.Pfuti dzicharira (What you have here is not war as the real war is coming, shots will be fired),” Goche is alleged to have said.

The Cup is to attract a historic more than 60,000 people set to satiate Zimbabwe’s largest meeting space the National Sports Stadium on Sunday the 30th November.
This move comes well in timing with the upcoming ZANU PF congress that could turn Mnangagwa into Robert Mugabe’s successor. At the politburo he was identified as the only other Presidential contender apart from Vice President Joice Mujuru.
The value of the cup was not disclosed at the time of writing.
The man behind the organising of this treat, Mr Emmanuel Sunduza told ZimEye in an exclusive interview all plans are now set for the 30th.
“It is on and we will be in the National Sports of Stadium,” he said.
Meanwhile Mnangagwa’s rival Joice Mujuru has had a barrage of character attacks in the Mnangagwa controlled State Media, continued. EXCLUSIVE: Augustine Chihuri Resignation Rumour, The Truth
-
still at work…Augustine Chihuri
Mujuru corruption report still confined to the State Media
As a cloud of suspense lay hanging over Harare Thursday, ZimEye was reliably told a story circulating that Police Commissioner Augustine Chihuri has resigned is not true.
The rumour claimed that Chihuri resigned in protest after refusing to arrest Robert Mugabe’s powerful default successor Vice President Joice Mujuru.
Police spokesperson Charity Charamba who is albeit on study leave, said Mr Chihuri is carrying about his normal duties and there is no iota of truth that he resigned at any time.
“I spoke to him today, he is the office. You can even phone and talk to him”, she said.
She added that the people peddling the rumour must have an agenda behind them.
Analysts have however questioned that despite the pile of news articles alleging deep seated corruption by Mrs Mujuru, she is still to be interrogated. When asked why they haven’t arrested Mujuru, Ass’ Commissioner Charamba she replied “We are yet to get the report. ”
The whole capital Harare was tense in the security echelons of power Thursday. Sources say the whole army, police are in a fix at the moment “to please or not to please” Grace Mugabe and her Mnangagwa camp who have called for Robert Mugabe’s powerful default successor the VP’s arrest and ouster from leadership. One source said the whole army, police and the rest of the security hierarchy sympathise with Mujuru.
Meanwhile the Attorney General Johannes Tomana, has on record said ordering the Police Commissioner-General to investigate VP Mujuru when a police report had not been made against her, would actually aide the VP’s defence in the event that she were to appear before the courts of law.
Urging those accusing the VP of corruption to make a formal police report, Mr Tomana said his office would only order an investigation when police fail to take appropriate action on the report.
“If we get a docket and there is evidence of a crime we will prosecute, but we cannot invoke the provision when a police report has not been made. That will actually arm the accused’s defence, as they will then argue that the system is prejudiced against them since due process would not have been followed. It will actually kill a case.
“The police service is a constitutional institution whose sole mandate is to carry out investigations without interference. The section that provides for giving that instruction envisages a scenario where the domestic mechanisms have failed.
“If a complaint is put through all the police structures, that will help us to see that that system has failed, especially if we see that there is actually a case. Because I’m now invoking a constitutional provision, it’s no longer supposed to be taken lightly because if he (Commissioner-General) does not respond, the President will have to do something. It’s got consequences and it’s not meant to be used in the understanding that transforms us into an alternative to reporting.
“Has anyone who knows anything about the VP case reported the matter to police? They need to do that as a condition precedent to us intervening,” Mr Tomana said.
Meanwhile, speaking on the sidelines, police director of legal services, Senior Assistant Commissioner Benjamin Mhiripiri said police would only investigate allegations against the VP after a formal report has been made.
BREAKING NEWS: Violent Youths “Block” Mujuru from Flying Out of Zimbabwe
Vice President Joice Mujuru attempting to fly out of the country, has been caught in a risk that would have caused her to be beaten up the way MDC cadre Nelson Chamisa was in 2007 today.

However they soon dispersed after an unidentified man told them that it is President Robert Mugabe rather who is traveling.

The congress was held under the theme ‘Towards National Convergence: A Solution to the National Crisis.’ Delegates to the Congress were drawn from the level of Branch upwards, from each of the Party’s 12 Provinces. Also in attendance were representatives of MDC T’s external branches. The Congress received solidarity messages from the Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions
(ZCTU) and the Internal Federation of Trade Unions (IFTU) represented by Wellington Chibhebhe. This overview provides internal resolutions, external resolutions and policy resolutions based on the congress’s adoption of the four thematic committees namely organizational transformation, constitutional review, policy review and the roadmap to elections.
Internal Resolutions
Institutional transformation
Congress noted that the institutional and structural design of the party has contributed to the ‘split’ of the party in the past and lack of party cohesion which is essential to realize the objectives of the party. The party also noted that the current institutional design might lead to destructive functions in the party and another split.
Structural changes
Congress resolved to amend the constitution to allow the President to be the custodian of the party name, custodian of all party assets, to supervise all in the leadership, to be the party’s chief fundraiser and to suspend National Standing Committee members through the National Council for breach of the party constitution. In this regard the Secretary General shall no longer be responsible ‘for all party affairs in the National Secretariat’ and shall report to the President.
Congress resolved to ratify the recommendation of national council to expand the members of the National Standing Committee to include the secretary for elections who shall be appointed by the President.
Congress resolved that the party sets up an Arbiter General’s office that cascades to all levels to speedily deal with the key issues of discipline in the party, cognisant of the fact that people are disciplined not for their views but for their constitutional conduct.
Congress resolved that deputies of officers of congress except the vice president and the vice chairperson shall not be elected from the next congress but will be appointed by the President from a pool of national executive members elected from the provinces.
Congress resolved that deputies of officers of congress except the vice president and the vice chairperson elected from this 4th party national congress will not sit in the standing committee.

Internal procedures
Congress resolved that internal elections of the party shall be run by an independent electoral body established and or appointed by the national council.
Congress therefore resolved to extend the voting rights in all primary elections to all party members and not limit them only to party structures that hold positions in the party. This means an expansion of the Electoral College, whereby all members of party members in a legitimate membership roll of its party in a particular district are eligible to vote in a primary election for their parliamentary candidate and all registered members in a particular ward are eligible to vote for a councilor.
Congress resolved to ensure gender parity in all organs of the party and respect the principle of 50/50 gender representation.
Congress resolved that local authorities should work with the party, report and be accountable to the party.
Internal program
Congress resolved to set up a Political Party Institute that will operate as a think-tank. The Congress also resolved to build structures and embark on a cadreship development program and leadership training programs and introducing an evaluation and performance management system for the leaders at all levels.
External resolutions
Position on rebels

National elections
Congress noted the shortcomings and imperfections of the July 2013 general elections as acknowledged by SADC, the African Union and the international community, particularly the shambolic voters roll and failure to provide an electronic voters roll as required by the law.
Congress therefore ratified the National Council position not to participate in any election, including by-elections, and even the next elections whenever they are held, until and unless all agreed reforms are implemented to the letter and spirit, including the provision of a biometric voters roll in a way that protects the will of the people and return the country to legitimacy.
Peaceful demonstrations
Congress noted that the new constitution allows citizens to peacefully demonstrate and petition the State on any grievance. Congress therefore resolved that the party will embark on peaceful and constitutional demonstrations and other forms of expression around the issues to force the regime of Robert Mugabe to accept the need for reforms in the following but not limited to the Zimbabwe Election Commission (ZEC), media, security sector, implementation of the Constitution in its letter and spirit.
Dialogue
Congress envisaged that the constitutional and peaceful demonstrations will force the government of Robert Mugabe to the negotiating table and build consensus on the need for a timetable towards a free and fair election and return to legitimacy.
Big Tent – Expansion of social base
Congress noted the need to expand its social and political base. Congress therefore resolved to welcome all members of other political parties and even former rebels to come and join the party in order to strengthen the base to fight for a new, democratic and prosperous Zimbabwe.
National convergence
Congress noted that the party needed to strengthen its organic links with other organizations, civic groups, labour, the informal sector, students, church, traditional leaders, progressive political parties, women organizations and the youth in order to entrench the grassroots support and reinvigorate the mass-based approach.
Congress therefore resolved to call for a national convergence conference from all groups and political parties to identify and agree on the national grievances and map the way forward for the country.
Policy Resolutions
Economy
Congress noted the deepening economic crisis bedeviling the country and its ramifications on the poor. Congress therefore resolved that there is need to create a stable, sustainable and rapidly expanding economy with opportunities for all.
Congress resolved that the MDC T stands for creating a social market economy, with a strong social bias towards the poor and marginalized, underpinned by expanded production in all key sectors of the economy.
The priority will be to create a balanced national budget biased in favor of socio-economic development, reduction in overall taxation to 25 per cent of GDP with progressive taxes on incomes and competitive tax rates on all private sector activity, maintain the use of the US dollar as the primary means of exchange and facilitate the full recovery of the Reserve Bank as the leader of last resort and the supervisory agency responsible for Bank and Financial supervision.
Land and agriculture
Congress noted the disorder in the land sector, rising food insecurity and the partisan nature of land redistribution.
Congress therefore resolved that the MDC T supports land redistribution to the people and not to ZANU PF chefs. The MDC T believes in undertaking a comprehensive national land audit of all land in Zimbabwe. In this regard, the MDC T supports the need to appoint a professional land commission that will look into issues of non-partisan access to land, compensation, land tenure and agricultural production.

Congress therefore resolved that the MDC T supports the development and good management of a tourist industry that will provide a safe, world class infrastructure and make Zimbabwe a prime market destination for all tourists.
Industry and commerce
Congress noted with concern the dilapidation of industries and the failure to generate new jobs. Congress therefore resolved that the MDC T’s policy is to make sure that industry and commerce is revived through the provision of low cost, financial facilities for distressed key industries to jump start production and bring their output to world standards and create jobs.
Labour Policies
Congress noted with sadness the ZANU PF government’s moves towards labour market flexibility at the expense of the ordinary worker. Congress therefore resolved that the MDC T does not support labour flexibility. The party stands for fair remuneration and respect for workers’ rights. In this regard, minimum wages should be enforced for all sectors and he strengthening of the National Economic Consultative Forum.
Education
Congress noted the decline in education standards and the ever rising cost of education in Zimbabwe. In this regard, primary education will be free, the Ministry of education will allocate a minimum of 20 per cent of the national budget to basic education and grants for disadvantaged children in tertiary institutions.
Congress also resolved that the MDC T government will restore the standards of university education and research to a level comparable with the best in Southern Africa. This will be anchored on supporting curriculum review, professional management of institutions, depoliticisation of institutions of learning and improvement of staff remuneration.
Health services

Congress therefore resolved that all citizens must have access to quality healthcare, with emphasis on the social determinants of health, health promotion and diseases prevention.
Congress resolved that every citizen should live within 5 kilometers of a health institution and this will entail construction of hundreds of new clinics in the neglected resettlement areas and many rural areas.
For funding the MDC T will establish a National Health Insurance scheme financed through ear marked taxes. In this regard, the MDC T will support health workers and ensure that they are well remunerated, motivated and happy.
Energy and Water
Congress noted with concern the the lack of implementation of key water projects that would improve the lives of Zimbabweans and the shortage of power generation due to long years of neglect in energy investment by ZANU PF. Congress therefore resolved that there should be speedy implementation of the Matabeleland Zambezi water project (MZWP) and the Kunzwi dam and to invest in alternative sources of energy, ensure professional management of energy institutions and ensure energy is available for all, including in the rural areas and in indigent households.
Home Affairs
Congress noted the poor services offered by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the difficulties ordinary citizens have in gaining access to registry services. Congress therefore resolved to have a devolved system of essential personal registrations services.
Registration services should be made available at all district offices for a minimum fee and applications should be processed within 24 hours.
Congress resolved that all children should be given a passport number and national ID at birth. This should lead to automatic voter rights on the attainment of the age of 18 years.
Police and Defence services
Congress noted with deep concern the continued politicization of state security forces in Zimbabwe that priorities safeguarding power for ZANU PF rather than servicing the citizens. Congress therefore resolved the need for a police service that is efficient and responsive so that the majority of citizens feel secure and are able to trust the police.
Congress also resolved that the MDC will maintain an efficient, lean and effective national defence capable of defending Zimbabwe’s interests locally and abroad.
Informal sector
Congress noted the reconfiguration of the national economy leading to massive informalisation due to ZANU PF’s failure to govern.
Congress therefore resolved that informal traders, farmers, miners and business persons should enjoy the protection of the state and get assistance in growing their activities with the objective of entering the formal sector and improving their precarious livelihoods.
Diaspora
Congress noted with concern the continued exclusion of the diaspora in the affairs of the country by the ZANU PF government which is driven by exclusive nationalism.
Congress therefore resolved that the diaspora should be afforded an opportunity to contribute to the economic, political and social life of the country. In particular the diaspora must be given their constitutional right to vote in elections.
Local government
Congress noted with concern the continued ZANU PF centralization policy on local government which is ultra vires the new constitution and deprives citizens of their rights. Congress therefore resolved that there should be immediate implementation of devolution with an objective to attain a democratic-developmental local state.
Congress resolved that all local authorities should be given control of the services to residents in their areas of jurisdiction and the principles of devolution of power are respected and supported with central government resources.
Congress also resolved that local authorities and police should immediately halt demolitions of people’s houses and rather seek the regularization of such. In addition, all residents should be given security of title over the land or property that they occupy for accommodation purposes and the provision of family based accommodation should be a priority.
Congress also resolved that local authorities should establish local residents associations with an acceptable constitution and leadership elected annually at meetings of the association conducted in each ward.
War Veterans
Congress noted with concern the growing marginalization of war veterans marked by the decline in their social welfare and the politicization of the war veterans. Congress therefore resolved to support the constitutional rights of genuine war veterans as enshrined in the new constitution and to ensure that they get assistance for rehabilitation, education, health and pension rights among others.
Women’s rights
Congress noted with sadness the entrenched patriarchal nature of society which has perpetuated the marginalization of women and girl child under the government of ZANU PF. Congress therefore resolved to bring women in the mainstream of opportunities. All institutions are encouraged to achieve equity in all positions involving the development of policy as enshrined in the new constitution. The MDC T will support and cooperate with the Gender Commission and safeguard against its politicization.
Traditional leaders

Congress resolved that the MDC T respect traditional leaders as custodians of our culture, language, and history.
International relations
Congress noted with concern Zimbabwe’s isolation by key strategic nations and its pariah status as a country. Congress resolved to establish normal relations with all countries and multinational organizations that are beneficial to Zimbabwe’s strategic interests. The MDC T will therefore work to have Zimbabwe readmitted into the family of nations.
National healing
Congress noted with concern the deep seated mistrust in communities, the tensions and pain induced as a result of political violence which is largely state sponsored by the ruling ZANU PF party. Congress
therefore resolved to support the establishment of a National Reconciliation, Justice and Peace commission to deal with violations of human rights since 1980. Every victim of human rights abuse since 1980 should be permitted access to the Commission in order to seek information about what happened, identify the perpetrators, seek a sense of justice and be considered for compensation by the State.
National debt
Congress noted with deep concern Zimbabwe’s balooing debt which is an albatross to meaningful economic development that can transform the ordinary people’s livelihoods.
Congress therefore resolved that the party commits to servicing of the national debt. An MDC T government will engage creditors to make a payment plan for the national debt. Where possible the party will approach creditors to secure either debt cancellation or rescheduling. This will make the country eligible for loan facilities from multilateral institutions and friendly countries.
We Will Kill Every Journalist Reporting ZANU-PF Factionalism – Makandiwa Spokesman
“There are cases when killing somebody is justifiable …”
Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa’s official spokesman, and ZANU PF deputy spokesman, Psychology Maziwisa, has threatened journalists with death for reporting on ZANU PF factionalism.
The embattled ZANU (PF) deputy information director Psychology Maziwisa has gagged media from reporting on ZANU(PF) factionalism because the reports ‘are scaring away potential investors’ and threatened journalists who continue reporting factionalism with not only lawsuits but also death.
Speaking in Harare at the weekend Maziwisa was at pains to defend the ongoing factionalism rocking the party as he is traditionally known for doing. President Mugabe and the entire politburo have on the opposite clearly stated that there is indeed factionalism in ZANU(PF) and it’s now a matter on public record
The youthful politician warned journalists of law suits should they continue reporting on factionalism.
“Do not forget that there are already negative perceptions around Zimbabwe, you further those perceptions by saying that there are all sorts of problems in Zimbabwe .They will shun our destination and they say there is political instability and you know when it comes to investment and economy the one major aspect that must really be prioritized in the mind of the investor is whether the destination is safe,” Maziwisa said.
He continued, “I think there will come a point when some of us will really say that your conduct is unconstitutional and it should be tested within the parameters of the constitution because no right is absolute.
“You might claim that you have the right to freedom of expression that is true but when we juxtapose that with the main right which we feel must be safe guarded I think there must be justification for that right to be limited even the right to life is limited.
“So imagine if the right to life is not absolute because there are cases when killing somebody is justifiable I think you all know that”, he threatened.
Maziwisa whose recruitment into the party is being questioned by President Robert Mugabe could only accuse the media for ‘fanning hatred, or sometimes violence’ by continuously reporting on the power struggles.
Factionalism in ZANU(PF) became visible three months ago when the First Lady Grace Mugabe began her nationwide so called ‘meet the people rallies’, where she incited ZANU(PF) supporters aligned to the Justice Minister Emmerson Mnangagwa to boot out Vice President Joice Mujuru and her allies at the party’s elective December congress.
Grace said blood could even be spilt in the process of eliminating Mujuru from the party because ‘she wants to topple the President’.
Since then Grace has been using a group of unemployed youths and some former liberation war fighters to violently remove provincial party chairpersons who are aligned to Mujuru from their positions so that they do not attend the congress.
The provincial chairperson Grace Mugabe has so far forcefully removed from their positions are Ray Kaukonde (Mashonaland East) Temba Mliswa (Mashonaland West), Jason Machaya (Midlands), Amos Midzi (Harare) , Callisto Gwanetsa (Masvingo) and Andrew Langa ( Matabeleland South) .
TB Joshua Disaster: MDC-T Leader’s Body Due Home in 7 Days
The body of MDC-T leader Greenwich Ndanga who was killed in Nigerian Preacher
TB Joshua’s church building two months ago on the 12th September, is due home in a week’s time, ZimEye has been told as South Africa announced it has commissioned two jets to transport the bodies of 84 of its citizens in Nigeria.
Following an interview with Mr Ndanga’s wife, South Africa’s spokesperson for the Inter-ministerial Committee tasked to deal with the disaster, Phumla Williams, has said the work to return the bodies to their families this weekend was at an advanced stage and the bodies will be back home in a week’s time.
“We are moving to the second gear of getting ready to repatriate. We can confirm that the two planes have been procured and will be dispatched to Lagos to collect the remains. We trust that by the end of this week, we will bring closure to this painful issue,” Williams said.
“At this point we should take the opportunity to thank the families for their patience and the dignity they have observed this moment with. All of us, we are saying it’s been a long two months. It has been an extremely difficult waiting period. This week we can confirm that these families will get hold of the remains of their loved ones and be able to move on with their lives.”
Earlier, Mrs Esther Ndanga told ZimEye.com she had been hoping her busband’s body by Sunday, but the position was changed (See more MDC Leader’s Body Due Tomorrow).
POLITBURO LATEST: ZEC Officers To Supervise ZANU-PF Congress Otherwise Bloodshed
Zanu PF is set to hire the services of the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission ZEC to preside over their watershed congress slated for December, according to proposals prepared for the politburo meeting this morning which if not taken “will result in bloodshed,” according to a senior politburo source.
This option, currently being debated, is likely to bring transparency in the elective congress mainly for the Vice Presidency position which is currently held by Joice Mujuru.
Mujuru’s post has been declared ‘vacant’ by the first lady Grace Mugabe.
Not only had Grace called for the ouster of Mujuru because ‘she wants to topple President Robert Mugabe from his position’, but also engineered for the expulsion of four party provincial chairpersons for ‘underperforming’.
The four dismissed provincial party chairpersons are Mashonaland West’s Temba Mliswa, Masvingo’s Killian Gwanetsa ,Amos Midzi of Harare province and Midlands provincial chair Jason Machaya.
A highly placed source (Politburo member) within the ‘revolutionary’ party told Zimeye.com in an exclusive interview in Harare they are likely to engage ZEC at their congress for the sake of transparency.
“This is what we have proposed and put on the table because any other means would mean disaster for the elections .As a political party some have asked the logic behind the engagement of ZEC when over the years we had been doing it alone, but we have argued that if they are going to be held without the supervision of a credible election body there is a likelihood of massive vote rigging, “said the source.
The senior ZANU (PF) member said secret ballot was going to be used at the congress despite resistance by some over the method.
“Those who are on a spree of chopping down provincial party chairpersons are opposed to a secret ballot and they are pushing for a nomination vote. They want the VP position be voted via the lifting of hands at the congress hence the whipping into line everyone and the unlawful elimination of democratically elected provincial chairpersons who they think are aligned to VP Mujuru,”said the source adding that,“ blood is likely to spill’ over the voting method which the party would adopt and not the secret ballot.
The Emmerson Munangagwa faction is opposed to the secret ballot because they know that they will be humiliated by Mujuru at the congress according to the source.

Mujuru Is Still Vice President – Didymus Mutasa
Minister of State Didymus Mutasa has dismissed reports that
Vice President Joice Mujuru resigned yesterday shortly being ordered to withdraw.
Mr Mutasa, who is said to be belong to the Mujuru faction according to the State Media, said to ZimEye there is no truth the report.
“None (credence) whatsoever ,” said Mutasa.
Asked concerning tomorrow’s crunch politburo meeting and if the Mujuru matter is the subject of discussion, Mutasa was non-committal referring all questions to party Spokesman Rugare Gumbo.
“Sorry I am not the Publicity Secretary of ZANU PF, so I cannot talk to you,” he said.
Mrs Mujuru has in recent days been the subject of a State Media ambush against her person in recent years which has seen her being named as a coup conspirator and a corrupt individual bent on destroying the party and nation’s international image.
BREAKING NEWS: Joice Mujuru Resigns
ZimEye has just received a report from reliable sources that Vice President Joice Mujuru tendered her resignation to President Robert Mugabe today, Monday.
President Mugabe however turned it down saying that she “must take responsibility of what she started,” one of the sources said. (Also Read Mujuru Still Vice President – Mutasa) At the time of writing, further details were not available together with the exact declared reasons for the ‘resignation’. BREAKING NEWS – Phillip Chiyangwa Snatches Another ‘Doctorate’ Degree
Harare businessman and Robert Mugabe’s cousin Philip Chiyangwa has snatched another honorary doctorate barely two years after receiving his first by a Philippines based money spinning syndicate.
ZimEye can reveal Chiyangwa was today capped once again at an albeit poorly attended ceremony at Crown Plaza Hotel in Harare.
Enrico Sibanda, the IIP Chief Representative who handed the award, described Chiyangwa as a philanthropist who deserves it for his outstanding work.
The ceremony is unlikely to go well with Chiyangwa’s employees many who include vulnerable disabled workers who have gone for years without a salary at a time when Chiyangwa was busy squandering millions on expensive cars and lavish parties around the country. He recently bought his wife a cellphone made of pure 24 carat gold.
In the picture, Enrico Sibanda, the IIP Chief Representative, left, poses for a photograph with Philip Chiyangwa one of IIP’s latest graduates the institution describes as a property magnet, philanthropist and businessman. looking on is Honorable Member of Parliament, Patrick Zhuwawo. The two are both nephews to President. R. G. Mugabe. The official graduation ceremony was held today at 8am – 10 am, at Crown Plaza Hotel, Harare.
IIP continues to honor living philanthropists, the organisation said in a statement.

Mr Ndanga’s body is expected by friends and relatives in South Africa tomorrow (Sunday). But ZimEye.com can reveal that the Nigerian government has since changed position and this is no longer happening. Mr Ndanga’s wife, Esther confirmed the latest development to ZimEye.com, “It is no longer happening, government has said it is no longer happening as previously promised,” she said.
When asked when Mr Ndanga’s body is likely due, she replied, “If I say anything else I will be lying. No one really has any information beyond what I have told you,” she said.
All hopes have been dashed since the latest news was announced with no clue whatsoever provided.
“Oh dear so sad, wonder if they really ever found the body in the first place,” one close friend told ZimEye.com in South African after this publication informed them of the latest development.
Meanwhile, Mrs Ndanga said she was grateful for the support she received from TB Joshua who reportedly donated R5000 and sent US2,000 to the family in Zimbabwe.

Shut Up!, Jabulani Sibanda Told by Own Organisation
War Veterans leader Jabulani Sibanda has been told by his own[lightbox link=”http://www.zimeye.com/wp-content/live_images//2014/11/Shadreck-Makombe-secretary-generalJames-Kauye-information-and-publicty-and-edith-kagoro-treasurer.jpg” thumb=”http://www.zimeye.com/wp-content/live_images//2014/11/Shadreck-Makombe-secretary-generalJames-Kauye-information-and-publicty-and-edith-kagoro-treasurer-309×232.jpg” width=”309″ align=”right” title=”Shadreck Makombe secretary general,James Kauye information and publicty and edith kagoro treasurer” frame=”true” icon=”image” caption=”Shadreck Makombe secretary general,James Kauye information and publicty and edith kagoro treasurer”] organisation to shut his mouth and not speak to the media again.
Mr Sibanda was told he must only speak after he has obtained audience with President Robert Mugabe and clarify some issues.
Sibanda recently told the media that he was opposed to “a bedroom coup”, a statement which meant that he was opposed to the first lady Grace Mugabe’s entrance to mainstream politics, but has since been interpreted as an insult on the Head of State.
The vibrant war veteran leader did not attend any of Grace Mugabe’s national ‘meet the people’ rallies she held nationwide in the past two months.
When he was asked the reason why he was not attending Grace’ rallies Sibanda said he was busy with other party business elsewhere.
Addressing journalists in Harare Thursday, Shadreck Makombe, the organization’s Secretary General, said they have ordered Jabulani Sibanda to stop talking until he clarifies his issues with the President.
“That is why we have said him (Cde Jabulani Sibanda) we talked about it .We also interrogated him about it and the debate was very vibrant. But at the end of the day with the explanation he gave to us, that is why we are saying he is going to meet with his Excellency. We would not want to preempt to say he is going to say this thing. That is why you are not seeing him on this panel. There are means and ways of us of addressing these issues” he said.
The war veterans however said that they were being blocked from seeing President Robert Mugabe adding that the last time he addressed them was in 1992 at their congress.
BREAKING NEWS: Zimbabwe to Compensate White Farmers
ZIMBABWE is to begin compensating white farmers who lost their properties when Robert Mugabe began seizing farms in 2000, ZimEye can reveal
in a move announced by Finance Minister Patrick Chinamsa Thursday morning.
This follows pressure from the Danish government on the compensation matter. This was bound to happen since Zimbabwe’s economy is in negative drive and it’s only way forward is to be at peace with western governments, commented ZimEye Business Editor, Simbarashe Chikanza.
“I told my counterpart here, under our constitution we have an obligation to compensate white farmers for improvements as you know,….” said Chinamasa.
He added: “If there is any failure at the moment, it’s the same failure that we have to service our debt. It’s not out of should we say, lack of an intention not to compensate, but out of lack of resources to compensate. So get it clear, we are committed to compensating white farmers for the improvements that we took over, and its enshrined in our constitution. What remains is implementing our constitution when resources are available,” he said. CLICK HERE TO HEAR CHINAMASA’S PRESSER

VIDEO: Tsvangirai Speaks on “Bloody Coup Plot” and Chamisa’s Future
MDC-T LEADER MORGAN TSVANGIRAI has spoken out on election looser Nelson Chamisa’s future.[lightbox link=”http://www.zimeye.com/wp-content/live_images//2014/10/tsvangirai10062008.jpg” thumb=”http://www.zimeye.com/wp-content/live_images//2014/10/tsvangirai10062008-412×184.jpg” width=”320″ align=”right” title=”Morgan Tsvangirai speaks on Chamisa’s future” frame=”true” icon=”image” caption=”Morgan Tsvangirai speaks on Chamisa’s future”]
Mr Tsvangirai revealed to ZimEye for the first time that he has his own private succession plan contrary to the one speculated by Chamisa supporters who thought the 36 year old would immediately take over from him. In a recent interview during a press briefing, Mr Tsvangirai was quizzed on his views of Chamisa and succession in general.
He replied cautioning against a bloody coup plot as he repeated Chamisa’s name. Below was his full statement to ZimEye:
“Let me tell you one thing, I have a succession plan, and it only belongs to me that one day I have to leave the stage and give it to young people. I don’t want to die in office, and I also appreciate that bringing in new blood, new ideas reinvigorates the party.
“If you look at the growth of the MDC it has largely been by the youth, the Chamisas of this world, the Chibayas, the Learnmore Jongwes, they were the young people from the student movement. The student movement, the constitutional movement and the labour movement were the living pillars that formed the MDC.
“So we appreciate, the Job Sikhalas (sic) have just come back. These are the young persons of the future. We can’t have a party that is entrapped in the past. We want a future that is defined by the young people, bringing in young people, bringing in new ideas. So its not a question of “if,” it is a question of “when,” and as far as I am concerned it’s a given.
“There will be youth, there will be handover takeover, but in a proper way, but not in a coup d’etat, but in a proper way, or a memo d’etat,” said Tsvangirai.
I Was Joshua’s Nkomo’s Bodyguard – Jabulani Sibanda
“I was Joshua Nkomo’s bodyguard,” embattled War Veterans leader Jabulani Sibanda has said.[lightbox link=”http://www.zimeye.com/wp-content/live_images//2014/10/JABULANI-SIBANDAAAAAAA2222.jpg” thumb=”http://www.zimeye.com/wp-content/live_images//2014/10/JABULANI-SIBANDAAAAAAA2222-412×203.jpg” width=”412″ align=”right” title=”defence… Jabulani Sibanda” frame=”true” icon=”image” caption=”defence… Jabulani Sibanda”]
Speaking to ZimEye during attacks from war veterans aligned to Grace Mugabe who said he is too young to have fought in the war, Mr Sibanda said contrary to the allegations, he is indeed a war vet who was even Joshua Nkomo’s bodyguard during and after the war into the Gukurahundi period.
Below is an extract from his interview
Q : There are allegations by Joseph Chinotimba that you are too young to be a veteran. I asked him that why is he bringing that question at a time like this. Comrade Chinos went on to claim that you were born in 1969 which makes it impossible for you to be a veteran?
J.C : (laugh) that’s correctly wrong. I do not want to comment on that. I am sure you know him better but I tell you by that time I was more than 10 years . I look very young because I look after myself, I exercise and I go to the gym,I believe in God, I go to church, I don’t drink, I don’t smoke that’s why I look very young , but let me tell you now, I am more than 50 years old .
Q : which year were you born?
J.C : I was born on the 1 st of January 1958.
J.C:I trained in Angola. I became an instructor in that country. If you want to know about my training in Mvuma in Angola. In Moxico province (sic). [lightbox link=”http://www.zimeye.com/wp-content/live_images//2014/07/nkomo-Copy.jpg” thumb=”http://www.zimeye.com/wp-content/live_images//2014/07/nkomo-Copy-171×232.jpg” width=”171″ align=”right” title=”Joshua Nkomo” frame=”true” icon=”image” caption=”Joshua Nkomo”]
JC: Since you are calling from a distance ask any one of your guys around and I will give him a copy of my birth certificate, I don’t have a copy of birth certificate at the moment but when they come I think I will be able to give it to them I will even show them my photos whilst I was in war available , certificates where I trained, and where I am a soldier. I used to be Nkomo’s bodyguard.
Q : Did you say you were Nkomo’s bodyguard?
JC :I am telling you that. When people were shot at Nkomo’s house I was there. Why did I go to Chikurubi detention? I went there because there were allegations and they arrested his body guard and the bodyguard who was arrested is me Jabulani Sibanda.
Nelson Chamisa ‘NIKUVED’ , Kicked Out of MDC-T Leadership
Former Organising Secretary and Morgan Tsvangirai’s esteemed blue eyed boy Nelson Chamisa, has been given the boot from the MDC-T Party LEADERSHIP in an election journalists were kicked out of the building during the vote-counting process.
Chamisa was reportedly NIKUVED from his influential absolute for the Secretary General post where he had the majority of nominations, and the party has put in place Douglas Mwonzora who recently recorded a song praising Morgan Tsvangirai, a traditional church song, previously worshipping Jesus Christ and which now has phrases such as “Tsvangirai Mutungamiri AneRudo”…
Mwonzora will be deputised by Pauline Mupariwa.
The results have sparked mixed reactions among MDC-T supporters.
A comment from the spokesman Obert Gutu was awaited at the time of writing.
Zimbabweans Languish in Namibian Prison for 8 Years Without Trial
A Zimbabwean man is languishing in prison in Windhoek, Namibia for a seven (7) year period to date without a trial.
ZimEye can reveal that Mr Neshia Mathole(39), and Ngqabutho Mdluli(36) have been incarcerated for the long period after being accused of a 2007 bank robbery.
Shortly after the crime occurred in Gobabisi, six men were arrested who were five Zimbabweans and once South African.
Three of the co-accused men escaped prison and one of the six died in prison leaving the Zimbabwean and the South African man alone to face trial.
It was not possible at the time of writing to ascertain the nationalities of the three who escaped but reports claim they are of Namibian origin.
The two raised their complaint with the Supreme Court in 2011. The Supreme Court referred their case to the Judge President of the High Court who in turn referred them to the Prosecutor General, the Magistrate’s Commission and Namibian Ombudsman. But even though the Magistrates’ Commission responded by communicating with the Prosecutor General and the Magistrate handling the case, no visible action has been to date.
Contacted for a comment, one of the lawyers, a Mr Vesser told ZimEye that the justice system has clearly failed the two due to the delays.
He however added that while the long stretch is not ordinary, it was caused by extenuating circumstances created when the other three suspects escaped prison, together with complications created when the accused changed lawyers.
The case is now to be heard “and finalised on the 19th November,” Mr Vesser said.
Doctors’ Countrywide Strike – LATEST UPDATE

ZimEye has been told that the doctors are hopeful since the latest meeting held on Thursday. No further update was available at the time of writing. “We are almost there we have packaged our issue in a pragmatic way to be accepted by treasury, even in this trained fiscus environment we are hopeful that something is in the pipeline,” Dr Emmerson Pazara who is in charge of the Bulawayo wing of the Doctors’ Association told ZimEye.com
ZimEye.com will continue to update our valued readers as soon as a further update becomes available.
Gumbo: Zimbabwe Faces A “Tsholotsho 2” Coup through Jonso
Zanu PF spokesperson, Rugare Gumbo has sensationally claimed that the current turmoil
in ZANU PF is an architecture of individuals working to destroy the party from within, as he declared that Joice Mujuru is innocent.
Gumbo said the group is planning “A Tsholotsho 2” in reference to the divisive indaba Professor Jonathan Moyo convened at Dinyane Primary school in attempt to overthrow Mugabe.
Speaking at a press conference at the party headquarters in Harare Friday, Gumbo blasted
the Jonathan Moyo controlled State Media for taking a negative stance on VP Mujuru saying it was quite shocking to see the headline in The Herald newspaper attacking the VP.
“It was quite shocking to see The Herald on Friday devoting the whole page to VP, Mujuru. It was damaging…….this is our public media supposed to report positively,” said Gumbo.
“Whether you like it or not she is the VP for the party and the country….. We can’t have the VP
treated the way she has been treated.”
Gumbo pointed out that the party was aware of elements within the ruling party that are coming up with strategies to destroy the party from within.
“The party is fully aware that some within the party are trying to bring regime change within the country….,” said Gumbo.
“It’s unfortunate that we are witnessing the Tsholotsho 2, the people who were involved in
Tsholotsho declaration are now also involved to bring a regime change. It’s not about bringing down President Robert Mugabe or the Vice President, but the whole struggle (gains of war of liberation).
Gumbo said divisive elements within the party had come up with allegations against the VP,
in order to cause fissures within the party.
“…allegations against VP are false and work of forces who want to bring regime change.”
Gumbo warned party cadres chanting unapproved slogans at party gatherings to desist from the practice.
“Slogans like “Pasi negamatox” and “Pasi nezvipfukuto” are totally banned with immediate effect,” he said.
Action will be taken against supporters found chanting unapproved slogans, added Gumbo.
BREAKING NEWS: Gumbo Fires Back, “This is a Tsholotsho Declaration II!”
THE AFTERMATH OF THE POLITBURO meeting held yesterday has developed into an outburst with ZANU PF spokesman Rugare Gumbo firing back at Mujuru accusers.
Mr Gumbo said to belong to the Mujuru faction according to state journalists, during a press conference Friday afternoon announced that what is currently “happening in the party is a Tsholotsho 2” declaration, meaning the people who are fanning divisions in the party were part of Tsholotsho declaration; The famous Dinyane meeting which was led by Jonathan Moyo and was said to be a plot by Prof Moyo to remove Robert Mugabe and put in place Justice Minister Emmerson Mnangagwa.
He castigated the Jonathan Moyo controlled Herald newspaper and other Independent papers for fuelling divisions in the party.
He re-emphasized that the slogans Fanatic and Weevils should stop. FULL PRESS DELIVERY to follow…

POLITBURO CHAOS: Mugabe Expels Jabulani Sibanda from ZANU PF
The chaos that erupted at the politburo meeting outside the ZANU PF headquarters building yesterday resulted in Robert Mugabe expelling War Veterans Chairman Jabulani Sibanda, ZimEye has been told, soon after Mugabe had blasted Sibanda for allegedly trying to run the country.
Sibanda was described by Mugabe as a man trying to rule Zimbabwe “like a King,” during his address before hundreds of roudy youths who had been bussed in from rural areas across the country. In a classical Julius Caesar-chaos style, Mugabe and Buhera legislator Joseph Chinotimba, exchanged the podium blasting Jabulani Sibanda just as the commotion continued in crowd which was baying for the blood of three main people, Jabulani Sibanda, ‘described as a fake war veteran’, Joice Mujuru labeled “Doctor 10%,” and Didymus Mutasa titled Mr “Gamatox”.
“Saka Jabulani akutotonga munyika muno?,” shouted Mugabe before the crowd who behaved like a pack of warthogs but as soon as Mugabe was speaking they quickly transformed themselves into an orderly like a choir before their master.
Soon after the main commotion as the youths dispersed, ZimEye caught up with Joseph Chinotimba who confirmed that Jabulani Sibanda has been expelled from both ZANU PF and the War Veterans Association.
“Munhu kana uri pamba pako, kana mwana wako akakutuka unoita seyi? Saka Jabu is gone, haamiri. Isu as War Veterans we can’t allow that a person can attack his father, so he has gone, ayenda.”
When asked to clarify his allegations against Sibanda that he has insulted Mugabe, Chitotimba was adamant, saying “you (ZimEye) cannot translate the language of Jabu. We know what we will do we are War Veterans, saka ayenda… atobva haachisipo – he has gone, he is no longer there” said Chinotimba.
Chinotimba said even the MDC can take Sibanda away as their member if they wish.
“Jabu is gone, if he is your friend, please take your friend to Britain not here in Zimbabwe that’s all,” said Chinotimba.
The marauding youths at the incident scene, attacked Secretary for Administration Didymus Mutasa drowning him while he was speaking and ordering him to repeat their slogan, “Down With Gamatox.”
POLITBURO: Mugabe Begs nation for Wife to Become Zimbabwe’s New President
Presdient Robert Mugabe pleaded with Zimbabweans Thursday afternoon to allow his wife to become Head of State.[lightbox link=”http://www.zimeye.com/wp-content/live_images//2014/07/mugabeoldestpresident.jpg” thumb=”http://www.zimeye.com/wp-content/live_images//2014/07/mugabeoldestpresident-412×232.jpg” width=”412″ align=”right” title=”Pleading…Robert Mugabe” frame=”true” icon=”image” caption=”Pleading…Robert Mugabe”]
Addressing hundreds of youths gathered at the shake shake building who had been hurriedly bussed in from various provinces, Mugabe asked why certain people were refusing his wife to lead in the presidium.
Grace Mugabe is already ZANU PF Women’s League Secretary Elect without a single dispute, and so Mugabe spoke of a higher elevation. Grace Mugabe has to date openly indicated she wishes to become President.
Said Mugabe, “Munorambireyi kuti mudzimai waPresident aite mutungamiri, zvakaipeyi – Why do you people deny the President’s wife a chance to lead?,” he said.
The meeting was created after the youths staged a protest at the ZANU PF headquarters entrance just before the politburo meeting had opened, denouncing Vice President Joice Mujuru who Grace Mugabe has ordered to resign with immediate effect or else.
Some analysts say Grace Mugabe is likely going to be raised to the position of Head of State. But Bulawayo based political analyst Prophet Steve Blomefield hinted that only Emmerson Mnangagwa can be president in the current circumstances.
Said Blomefield, “Mugabe will resign after congress [if he is just too sick to rule]….. Even though Mugabe has stated on many occasions he will die in office, the pain and stress of office may be just too much for him and he will prefer to rest. Mnangagwa will be 1st Vice President, at congress. Soon after congress Mugabe will resign and “Mnangagwa will then be president.
“Mnangagwa will choose a loyalist to be 1st vice president, [Possibly Sydney Sekeremai] and Grace 2nd Vice President. She will be a Vice President for the women. She will safeguard the Mugabe fortune. She will be inspirational, not governmental. I see Mnangagwa changing tactics to being a kinder, gentler Mnangagwa who will have to appoint experts to government, not incompetent, dependent praise singers.
“Mnangagwa will engage the west as well as China. sanctions [USA, EU, Britain] will be dropped. The USA is too poor to give us aid, but there will be token aid and maybe trade will loosen up.” READ MORE ON UPDATES

The Sad End of Joice Mujuru | PICTURE GRAPHIC
SHE WAS ONCE regarded as the most powerful woman in Southern Africa and was feared as the world’s first and only woman to have downed a helicopter with a simple AK rifle, but now, used like toilet paper, as the Politburo sits this morning, Joice Mujuru’s political history quite nears its sudden and sad end.(Also read EXCLUSIVE – Mugabe’s Secret Spy Tapes of Mujuru ‘Saying Bob Resting on Own Faeces’)
President Robert Mugabe has been blamed for using Mujuru to persuade political favour with women (Zimbabwe’s largest sub population) when it was convenient for him when he dumped Emmerson Mnangagwa in 2004 as now a bill allegations are ‘manufactured’ against her and announced by his controversial wife, Grace, who said she “must resign now or else”.
Abuse of the Korekores
Mujuru is from the Korekore speaking tribe and she is not the first to be ill treated by Bob. Former Finance Minister Chris Kuruneri another Korekore and most loyal ZANU PF senior official was picked up right from office straight to prison and to languish in the stinking Chikurubi cells for more than a year without trial over allegations that were not proven.

LATEST: Politburo Mujuru Probe
Below is an update on the Politburo meeting which is hearing statements against Vice President Joice Mujuru for the case in which she is being accused of allegedly sponsoring opposition parties and engaging in corrupt business activities.
The meeting which was meant to have been held today Wednesday was postponed again to Thursday (tommorrrow). Reasons for the postponement were not given.
“What will happen tommorrow is that Women’s League Secretary Oppah Muchinguri is going to open her report and present it to the politburo. In that report will be the allegations against Mai Mujuru which will then be debated,” a source said. (Also read Politburo Stands By Mujuru, Grace Mugabe Rubbished)
Grace Allegations:
In Grace’s unrestrained attacks on Mujuru, she said the vice-president should have waited her turn, instead of trying to wrest power from her husband whom she says she is defending.
“Mnangagwa — that man I respect him,” she said.
“In 2004, he agreed to step down to allow Mujuru to take over when he had been voted by eight provinces.
“Likewise, like Mnangagwa, Mujuru should just do the honourable thing and resign.”
Mnangagwa is allegedly leading a faction fighting the Mujuru camp to succeed Mugabe. Both deny leading factions, insisting they support the president.
BREAKING NEWS: Notorious Gay Sex Rapist Finally Caught
There was chaos at ZRP Murambinda police station as the residents of Murambinda Growth Point jostled to get a glimpse of the notorious Panganai Tangwena who had been on the run for attacking and sodomising men in and around Murambinda.
ZimEye can now reveal Tangwena, previously unknown to both the police and the state media.
He was arrested yesterday in Macheke by 2 police officers based at Murambinda police station who had gone to Macheke to arrest a cattle rustler. In a true case of sour grapes, the cattle rustler then tipped the officers on the whereabouts of Tangwena who was now doing menial jobs in Macheke farming area, weeding in people’s farms.
Early this month Officer-in-charge Murambinda Police Station, Chief Inspector Gorden Sibanda, confirmed that they had received reports of men who were attacked by Tangwena and sexually abused.
“It is true that we are dealing with such a case. We got the first report on August 31.
“He was reported to have committed aggravated indecent assault. It appears he has specific tactics he employs when carrying out his shenanigans.
“At one point, he is said to have seen an 18-year-old bathing along the river and attacked him. The young victim was admitted at Murambinda Mission Hospital after he was sodomised allegedly by Tangwena.
“We also got another report on September 2 when he met his male neighbour who was on his way home. Tangwena is said to have approached him and started molesting him.
“He allegedly bit his ‘prey’ on both breasts and on his back. There were visible scars on the victim. However, the neighbour was lucky to escape before Tangwena had accomplished his mission, but he had managed to identify him.
“When this guy came to make a report, it took less than an hour before another male came to report a similar case.
“Last week we got another report from a woman who was gathering firewood in the bush in the company of her mother.
“He is said to have tried to attack the woman until the mother threatened him with an axe and he ran away,” he said.
“We have tried on several occasions to raid his home and all areas where he is said to be hiding, but it has yielded nothing so far.
“To some extent there could be the use of juju in the way the suspect behaves. Even the way he escapes after being seen in public is a puzzle to us. We have tried all the tricks in the bag.
“We are also embarking on campaigns to alert the public and one such initiative is this interview apart from campaigns in the residential areas,” he said.
‘Govt Ignores’ as Doctors’ Strike Cripples Zimbabwe’s Hospitals
The Zimbabwean government through it’s Ministry of Health, has reportedly “ignored” the doctors’ strike that has yet crippled all state hospitals nationwide as surgeons demand a pay rise from current their paltry $283 per month.
A spokesperson for the Doctors Association for Matebelenand, Dr Emmerson Pazara has told ZimEye.com the government has not responded at all to the strike which began yeterday, Monday. There has been no response from the ministry. No indication whatsoever.”
He added:
“The government has shown arrogance which is irritating the doctors’ camp. All our please are falling on deaf ears.”
Harare Central Hospital’s clinical director, George Vera quoted by a local daily said the industrial action had paralysed operations in many departments.
“The strike has affected us such that in some of the departments, we are dealing with emergencies only,” Vera said.
“The patients are being inconvenienced as we speak. But it’s not all members that have gone on strike, some are available.”
At Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals, patients complained of spending hours on end in queues without being attended to.
A nurse who declined to be named said service delivery was slow as the majority of junior doctors were on strike.
However, the situation was different at Chitungwiza Central Hospital with CEO Obadiah Moyo saying all his medical staff had reported for duty.
“They are all at work because they have patients at heart,” Moyo said.
In Bulawayo, the doctors’ strike got off to a slow start although they appeared to be on a go-slow with long queues forming in the outpatients department and admissions rooms at Mpilo Central and United Bulawayo Hospitals.
People visiting patients at Mpilo told Southern Eye that service delivery was markedly slower, with doctors taking longer to attend to patients.
“I recall coming here at around 6am during the visiting hour and I was told to wait for the doctors,” a visitor, who requested anonymity, said.
“It took about three hours to be told my relative’s condition.”
The junior doctors are demanding that their salaries be reviewed from the current $282 a month to a minimum of $1 200 per month excluding allowances.
They are also demanding free accommodation in government-owned flats.
Zimbabwe Hospital Doctors’ Association secretary-general Farai Makoni confirmed that their members had embarked on industrial action in accordance with the new Constitution.
“Section 65 subsection 3 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe states that, except for members of the security services, every employee has the right to participate in collective job action, including the right to strike, sit in, withdraw their labour and to take other similar concerted action,” he said.
“Indeed we are on industrial action until our issues are addressed duly.”
Makoni said that they had not received any concrete and verifiable evidence from the authorities on progress towards their demands.
Health minister David Parirenyatwa confirmed the work stoppage and appealed to the negotiators to urgently resolve the impassé before the strike paralysed the health sector.
“When the doctors gave their notice [to strike], I sent the Health Services Board (HSB) to get together with the doctors and work out a plan so as to come up with a way forward. The strike is unfortunate and I hope the discussions should go on so that we resolve this issue very quickly. The whole of government is very engaged with this matter,” Parirenyatwa said.
When asked if the doctors have experienced their own personal setbacks, Dr Emmerson Pazara told ZimEye.com, “We have plenty, but we won’t tire until we are heard.
Joice Mujuru Mutare Meeting: Large Crowds Swamp
Large crowds numbering in their hundreds thronged to Vice President Joice Mujuru’s function in Mutare on Monday, despite her cancelling the engagement at the last minute.
The function which was meant for the re-burial of heroes, was swamped by professionals of every rank and file many who are not traditional loyal ZANU PF supporters but whose hearts now sympathise and support Joice Mujuru. Several lawyers known to be MDC-T supporters made their way to the meeting site in Old Mutare.
“I knocked off early just so that I could see her face,” said one local lawyer who refused to be named since he is not a ZANU PF card carrying member.
It was not clear why Mujuru cancelled her attendance and no explanation was given at the time of writing. Speculation was however rife that she had become suddenly seized with government business slated for Tuesday. However, the function continue without her … More to follow…
Jabulani Sibanda Fires Back at Grace Mugabe’s Gory Goblins
War Veterans leader Jabulani Sibanda, has spoken in the wake of reports claiming he has been removed from his powerful job for bunking Grace Mugabe’s rallies.
Mr Sibanda told ZimEye in an exclusive interview Saturday the people claiming to have suspended him are confused, desperate ‘goblins’ who are not even members of the war veterans association. He told ZimEye‘s Simbarashe Chikanza there is no substance in the state media reports saying he has been kicked out simply because he did not attend Grace Mugabe’s rallies and did not turn up at her Mazowe farm meeting with war vets. He has already received support from the rest of ZANU PF heavyweights including Mash West Chairman Temba Mliswa who praised him for being a hard worker who was actually conducting scheduled ZimAsset workshops across Matebeleland. (Read More Mliswa Praises Jabulani Sibanda on Grace Mugabe Rally Tirade )
Below was part of his interview:
J.S: That is part of the nonsense, these people are not even part of the association. I don’t even take it seriously. They have been put there by someone.
SC: Do you know the people who made these statements?
J.S: They are not even in our association; If you ask any member of our association(sic). I have more support and am not threatened by anything.
SC : Have they informed you that they have suspended you?
J.S: They don’t have any channel to do that, that’s why they have gone to the press; the only way they can show their foolishness. There is nothing like that.
SC: What about allegations that you are part of the Mujuru camp?
J.S: I’m not in any camp, I didn’t attend the rallies of [Mai Mugabe] because I was busy doing [party work]. FULL INTERVIEW FOLLOWS…
Robert Mugabe Arm Twists Politburo to Avoid Mujuru Issue

It was not clear what was discussed in that meeting, but speculation has been rife that Mugabe wife’s raging rants were the bone of contention.
But the main Politburo meeting was aborted after a power blackout engulfed Harare, and a generator at the ZANU PF headquarters failed too, forcing the meeting to end prematurely.
On the agenda was preparations for the 6th Zanu PF elective congress to be held in December and the recent women’s league rallies held by the incoming Secretary for the Women’s League, Dr Grace Mugabe.
Mugabe and company remained holed up in the meeting room for a while.. The Mujuru issue was not discussed and it will only come up when the outgoing Womens’ chairperson Oppah Muchinguri presents her report next week. The Mujuru issue was scheduled for discussion per Oppah’s report but she indicated that she was not aware that the issue was on agenda leading to a deferral to next week Wednesday.
The sensational allegations against Joice Mujuru made by Grace Mugabe were expected to take center stage . It is now expected that the Mujuru saga would be dealt with when Oppah present her report.
Jabulani Sibanda Cancels Presser after Being Told He is Expelled
Zimbabwe Liberation War Veterans Association leader Jabulani Sibanda has postponed a press briefing that was initially scheduled for 1800 hrs, today amid revelations that he has been booted from his post . The press briefing has since been moved to Saturday.
Latest information coordinated by Professor Jonathan Moyo’s media states that war vets secretly passed a vote of no confidence on Sibanda, for “snubbing Grace’s rallies”. Sources say plans to remove Sibanda from the top post are at an advanced stage. The war vets accuse Sibanda of making the association dysfunctional
Sibanda who was set to respond to recent accusation that he deliberately skipped Grace Mugabe’s rallies because he is aligned to the Mujuru camp, will now have to respond to the latest developments as well.
On Thursday war veterans met Grace Mugabe in a meeting which sidelined Sibanda, amid revelations that there was an underhand plot to oust him.
Addressing the war vets at her farm, Grace deliberately addressed the controversial Buhera legislator Joseph Chinotimba as war vets as the Acting Chairperson, giving credence to an earlier pronouncement that it was time for the war vets to elect new leadership.

A senior source inside the shake shake building has told ZimEye that President Robert Mugabe and Joice Mujruri held a closed meeting shortly before the main politburo meeting in the main conference room. It was not clear what was discussed during that confined meeting but speculation has been rife that it had everything to do with the current raging rants by Mugabe’s wife against Mujuru. Meanwhile BELOW was the ongoing update:
President Robert Gabriel Mugabe’s wife, Grace is not attending the privileged politburo meeting currently being held today at ZANU PF’s shake shake building. Grace who is the key subject of bitter squabbles that gave rise to the proposed main agenda for this meeting, is not welcome since she is also not a politburo member.
The meeting began this morning and senior ZANU PF officials marched into the building amid the glare and gaze of journalists stationed near the Rainbow Towers hotel waiting for the final moment when resolutions are communicated.
But by 7.02 PM, the meeting was far from over.
A senior source had reported earlier that Mujuru is challenging President Robert Mugabe face to face over his wife’s allegations against her. She will later speak out on her ordeal for the first time vocally tomorrow, Saturday. (Also read Swimming Between Hippos and Crocodiles| Zimbabwe..)
It will be brick upon brick as the party attempts to save itself from total collapse with this challenge the first of its kind since 1960.

Grace Mugabe Blood-bath: Jabulani Sibanda Speaks Out
The leader of Zimbabwe’s war veterans Jabulani Sibanda speaks in the aftermath of the Grace Mugabe’s rallies in which she has announced she will kill everyone and anyone who threatens her interests.
Jabulani Sibanda was deliberately excluded by Grace in her invitations to her private farm in Mazowe yesterday, when she decided to call instead the controversial Buhera South legislator Joseph Chinotimba who does not hold any position whatsoever among war veterans. Sibanda did not show up at any of Grace Mugabe’s controversial rallies which gobbled millions of the taxpayers’ money.
ZimEye is covering Cde Sibanda’s address today LIVE from Bulawayo and calls on you our faithful news readers to send your questions. What do you want Mr Sibanda to answer on or clarify?
BREAKING NEWS – Politburo Stands By Mujuru, Grace Mugabe Rubbished
Vice President Joice Mujuru is going nowhere and will remain firmly in position second only to the President, ZimEye can reveal, in this development which has left President Robert Mugabe’s wife, Grace with eggs on her face as the senior party spokesman described some allegations as “nonsense.”
The comments come on the same day as Grace Mugabe made a public call for Mujuru to resign ‘or else’.
ZimEye can exclusively reveal that ZANU PF’s senior decision making body, the politburo is not moving to suspend Mujuru in the face of the numerous allegations raised by Grace Mugabe. ZANU PF spokesman Rugare Gumbo told ZimEye Thursday night,
“There is nothing that is going to happen to Mai Mujuru. Mai Mujuru is the Vice President of this country, Second Secretary of the party and she remains in that position,” said Gumbo.
But there have been serious allegations that she is harbouring corruption, and she is engaged in corruption and she has done all sorts including sponsoring opposition parties, our reporter asked. To this Gumbo replied,
“Have you proven that? That’s why we are saying we don’t operate on allegations. We operate on facts. We don’t operate on hearsay and all that nonsense,” he said.
The development confirms an earlier expose by ZimEye in which another senior politburo boss said Jonathan Moyo is to be probed for his role in facilitating the creation of negative news stories painting Joice Mujuru as a corrupt person which may have influenced Grace Mugabe into her current “rage of stupor”(as said) against Mujuru. (See Jonathan Moyo Under Fire…). It also comes after secretly recorded tapes were handed Mugabe claimed to be authentic recordings of Mujuru insulting Mugabe saying he has overstayed his welcome (See EXCLUSIVE – Mugabe’s Secret Spy Tapes of Mujuru…).
Gumbo said that the politburo meeting is to be held tomorrow, Friday.
Grace Mugabe Secret Meeting with War Veterans: Chinotimba Reveals Agenda
EXCLUSIVE:Chinotimba reveals agenda for Grace’s private meeting
President Robert Mugabe’s wife, Grace, has summoned a select group of war veterans to an exclusive meeting at her Mazowe farm due in less than 24 hours.
Many war vets of note who include the leader himself Jabulani Sibanda have been sidelined from this meeting, ZimEye has learnt. ZimEye has however obtained an exclusive interview with Buhera South legislator Joseph Chinotimba who revealed in his own words what is the agenda for the meeting. Meanwhile Mr Sibanda said Wednesday morning he has no knowledge of the meeting,
“I don’t know about the meeting you are talking about. As a national liberation association, we have requested through the secretary-general to see the President (Robert Mugabe). That is what we are waiting for. The other one I am yet to be appraised. I just heard that the meeting was supposed to be held two weeks ago, and was postponed,” said Sibanda.
Meanwhile Chinotimba speaking on the agenda (audio-recording) Chinotimba linked the meeting with a letter the war vets wish to submit to her husband. Chinoz, as he is popularly called denied firing Jabulani Sibanda stating that he remains the chairman of the War Veterans.
“Jabulani Sibanda is the chairman of the war veterans,” charged Chinotimba.
He said he only criticised Sibanda for not attending any of Grace Mugabe’s rallies.
When asked however if Sibanda will be attending the Mazowe meeting since according to his words, he is still the leader, Chinoz fumbled over words. “Uku kuMazowe hakungonzi asinga asingadi kuenda wonzi waregerereyi – there is no link between not attending the Mazowe meeting, and being fired,” Chinotimba said. ZANU PF Approves Mozambique’s Election Results Despite Shocking Delays
President Robert Mugabe’s ZANU PF party has approved Mozambique’s just ended national elections conducted early last week, despite shocking delays in announcing the outcome which stretched for close to a whole week.
The neighbouring country’s results took more than five days to announce sparking outrage in the community and the opposition crying foul as the liberation party Frelimo was finally made the winner.
Speaking exclusively to ZimEye, ZANU PF spokesman Rugare Gumbo on Sunday said the elections were free and fair. In a celebratory tone, Mr Gumbo said, “Well we have our delegation there and they report that the elections went well. The campaigning during the last days of the election went well, and the voting process …was also done well; And so far the results show that Frelimo is winning and as a party we are very happy because we were in the trenches together with Frelimo during the liberation struggle and we have very excellent cordial relations, and we wish them well,” he said,
The delay and other problems, though, have been enough to prompt presidential challenger Afonso Dhlakama to cry foul. His opposition party, Renamo, has alleged fraud and ballot-box stuffing, though observer groups from the European Union, the African Union and the Southern African Development Community have said that irregularities were isolated and that the vote was largely free and fair.
Mozambican journalist and analyst Fernando Lima quoted by VOA, said it is notable that Dhlakama, despite his complaints, drew twice as many votes as he did the last time he ran for president. One factor, he says, is a noticeable drop in confidence for Frelimo, which won 75 percent in both the presidential and parliamentary polls in 2009.
However Afonso Dhlakama has said he will not resort to violence even though he’s become a five-time loser.
The former rebel leader has opted for dialogue with ruling party, the Mozambique Liberation Front (Frelimo).
Assassination Plot on Joice Mujuru -Claim
“Information reaching us says there is a plan to assassinate Mai Mujuru while Mugabe and wife are away”, an unsolicited message circulated on social media Monday night reads.
It continues: “The reason why Mugabe made a fake trip to Rome is to allow his vulture to eliminate the poor lady, plus kunzvenga magwaro a Itai Dzamara.”
This claim came just as the Jonathan Moyo controlled State Media launched a new level of attacks on Joice Mujuru accelerating their claims that Mujuru sponsored the country’s fiery opposition parties, MDC-T and Mavambo which dislodged Mugabe in 2008 threatening bringing an end his 3 decade rule, which was only perpetuated by the army when the military performed a coup in the
SADC mediator Thabo Mbeki led talks which created the GNU government. Reporting on Tuesday morning, the State Media lurched at Mujuru saying she is receiving resounding support from her opposition project. The Herald further claimed in a strong 1,800 word news article that the MDC-T allegedly sponsored by Mujuru, is a British project formed on the 109th anniversary eve of the Pioneer Column, the 11th September 1999 which coincides with the arrival of the white regime settlers on the 12th September 1890.
However commenting on the assassination attempt on Mujuru claims, political commentator Ndaba Nhuku said they are baseless. “It is inconceivable that Jonathan Moyo could do that on such a popular person like Mujuru, it is not true” he said.
The Herald’s lengthy 1,800 word piece reads:
Functionaries from opposition parties whose formation the First Lady Amai Grace Mugabe traced to the house of Vice President Joice Mujuru have sprung to the VP’s defence with gushing tributes which analysts said were not only unprecedented, but pointed to a hitherto unknown relationship between the VP and the opposition parties.
Addressing the last leg of her “Meet The People Tour’’ at Rudhaka Stadium in Marondera last Friday, Amai Mugabe revealed that the opposition MDC and Mavambo/Kusile/ Dawn were formed at VP Mujuru’s house.
While VP Mujuru had not responded to the revelations by the time of going to Press yesterday, the opposition parties and their functionaries were lining up to her defence amid reports that MKD leader Dr Simba Makoni was scheduled to address a Press conference this morning pursuant to defending VP Mujuru.
Sources close to Dr Makoni say he planned to claim Mavambo was formed after the 2008 elections, yet records show that the party was only formalised after the elections but was formed prior to the polls when Dr Makoni was booted out of the Politburo.
The opposition functionaries, most of whom are junior office holders, were also dismissed as lacking the locus standi to speak about the origins of the MDC, a party they only joined midstream as it was conceived in Westminster Abbey when the three main British political parties, the Tories, Labour and Liberal Democrats came together under the Westminster Foundation for Democracy to conceive an opposition party to spearhead regime change in the wake of the Zanu-PF Government’s decision to embark on the fast-track land reform programme.
Political analysts dismissed MDC-T spokesperson Mr Douglas Mwonzora as “a mere passenger on a train bound for nowhere’’ saying he was not even in party structures when the MDC was launched on September 11, 1999, a date they said was chosen to signify the arrival of the Pioneer Column in Mashonaland on September 12, 1890.
Contrary to Mr Mwonzora’s claims that processes that took place prior to MDC’s formation were done in public, the Westminster Foundation admitted its parentage of the MDC on its website which it later took down after Zanu-PF latched on to the admission to expose the MDC as a neo-colonial project.
MDC leader Mr Morgan Tsvangirai also admitted in his memoirs “At the Deep End” that there was strong involvement of the white community in the formation of the party.
A coterie of opposition elements among them Dr Ibbo Mandaza and Retired Major Kudzai Mbudzi, all founding members of Mavambo, MDC-T spokesperson Mwonzora, former MDC99 leader Job Sikhala and Dr Lovemore Madhuku of the NCA have all come to the VP’s defence by launching acerbic attacks on Mai Mugabe.
Prof Madhuku, in an article titled “Grace takeover: Madhuku threatens war” (The Standard October 19, 2014), pledged to go to war to prevent Mai Mugabe’s political ascendancy.
‘‘We will go to war, we do not want the Mugabe family or any related person directly or indirectly to be the President.
“People have to find unlawful means to stop this. You cannot have a country where you say one ran it for 34 years and when he left his wife took over,” Prof Madhuku said.
Mr Sikhala in a Facebook post dated October 19 called on MDC-T supporters to target Amai Mugabe for abuse accusing her of wanting to block VP Mujuru’s ascendance to the presidency of Zimbabwe.
“We must make our plans as the largest political party in the opposition in Zimbabwe with our eyes centered on Grace Mugabe’s rise in Zanu-PF politics,” he said.
“There is no doubt that watching closely Grace’s political rallies she is aiming to disrupt any attempt of the Mujuru rise in internal Zanu-PF politics. So it is in that new developments that our arsenals must be targeting Grace.
“She will be our nemesis in the future of our politics. With me that will be an interesting duel for Grace epitomises a lot of Zimbabwe’s failure today.
Come on MDC cadres. We must ravage Grace Mugabe from today onwards.”
Mr Sikhala’s sentiments, analysts said, were quite surprising given that he should be pitching for his party president Mr Morgan Tsvangirai, and not a senior Zanu-PF leader like VP Mujuru.
The Zimbabwe Independent of October 17 quoted Dr Mandaza asserting that Amai Mugabe would lose if she dared to challenge VP Mujuru.
“It seems the Mnangagwa faction is going for broke, but I don’t see them achieve anything because there is no way they can stop Mujuru, she is through the door already. They are trying to close the stable door after the horse has bolted,” said Dr Mandaza.’’
Rtd Maj Mbudzi also launched a scathing attack on Amai Mugabe.
“Amai (First Lady) by the look of things is, seems to be too individualistic, immature, is incalculative and opportunistic and rather poor in mental construction of reality,” he said.
“Dr Mai Joice Mujuru is her direct opposite who is cool, calm, reserved, tolerant, objective and intelligently calculative of what is good or bad for Zimbabwe. No wonder political crooks want her out sooner than later. She will not in the too distant future, tolerate their crooked way.”
MDC-T spokesperson Mr Douglas Mwnzora weighed in describing Amai Mugabe’s assertions that MDC-T was formed at VP Mujuru’s house as “wild.”
“It’s absolute rubbish,” said Mr Mwonzora.
“This is a wild accusation. MDC was not formed in a private place. The processes that took place before the formation of MDC were held in public arenas.”
Analysts have, however, said the opposition parties’ coordinated defence of VP Mujuru and her history of omitting ‘’Pasi ne MDC (down with the MDC)’’ whenever she chants the Zanu-PF slogan raised serious questions about her relationship with the opposition parties whose brand of reactionary politics had brought so much suffering to ordinary Zimbabweans.
Others lambasted Mr Mwonzora as a junior member in the MDC-T who had no locus standi to comment on the formation of the British sponsored party.
Some argued that Mr Mwonzora was still a member of the Bishop Abel Muzorewa’s United Africa National Congress when MDC was formed.
War veteran and Foreign Affairs Deputy Minister Cde Chris Mutsvangwa said the onus was on the VP to prove she had no links with the opposition.
“Kana uchida kuziva Mai vemhuru bata muswe wayo (scratch the calf, draw out the cow) It is high time that she (VP Mujuru) comes in the open and dissociate herself from that oppositional support,” he said.
“It is one thing to be accused by the First Lady and another thing to be eulogised by opposition figures.
“It is incumbent on her as a cadre of the party to say that I do not want your oppositional sympathy and defence I will talk to my President if there are any issues.
“If she remained quiet, it gives credence to what the First Lady has said.
“As a party cadre, how can you be seen supported by Major Mbudzi who betrayed his fellow cadres in the military or Ibbo who never liked Zanu-F or Mwonzora who is a member of the opposition?”
Political analyst Mr Godwine Mureriwa had no kind words for Mr Mwonzora.
He said Mr Mwonzora was not privy to the history of MDC-T.
“Mwonzora is not aware that there was a meeting that was held on January 23 1999 at the Chatham House which is owned by the Royal Institute of International Affairs,” he said.
“This was after the European Union had agreed that President Mugabe should be removed from office either through a military coup or through an opposition founded and funded by the British or through subversion of Zanu-PF.”
Through subversion, Mr Mureriwa said, the British wanted to divert Zanu-PF from the ethos and ideals of the liberation struggle.
He said Mr Mwonzora should not make uninformed pronouncements and avoid unnecessary fights with Zanu-PF but direct his energies towards his political nemesis Mr Nelson Chamisa who had outwitted him ahead of the party’s congress slated for next week.
“Mwonzora needs to fight Chamisa and not Zanu-PF,” he said.
“If he has been outwitted by Chamisa what makes him think that he can outmaneuver Zanu-PF?
“He is a desperate lawyer trying to create some semblance of relevance by attacking Zanu-PF. He is just trying to get a lifeline from a perceived disintegration in Zanu-PF.”
Mr Mureriwa said the First’s Lady’s remarks should not be treated as meaningless because she was privy to classified information on developments in the country.
“Comments of the First Lady are perhaps mistaken as coming from nowhere but she is privy to the operations of the State and other things in the country,” he said.
“She is well informed and has intelligence of what is happening.”
University of Zimbabwe political scientist Dr Charity Manyeruke said Mr Mwonzora was not a realist in politics as he had joined the MDC train in the middle of its journey.
She said: “If you are not a realist you think the ideal situation is what is real but a realist knows what is happening and what the First Lady said is the real situation.
“When you join a train on the middle of a journey you do not know how it started off.”
Dr Manyeruke said most of the architects of opposition parties in Zimbabwe after 1980 were formed in Western capitals.
She said people like Mr Mwonzora needed political education to deliver them from the Utopian world of imaginary politics.
Acting president of the Multiracial Christian Democrats Mr Mathias Guchutu said although Mr Mwonzora was the MDC-T spokesperson, he was not the best person to comment on that issue.
“He may not be the best qualified person to comment and it could have been good if journalists make efforts to seek a comment from someone who was present when the party was formed,” he said.
Mr Guchutu said the MDC-T can only clear its name if a founding member set the record straight with regards to allegations that it was founded and funded by foreigners.
In his book At the Deep End Mr Tsvangirai said: “In due course, as the movement grew, especially among agricultural and agro-industrial workers, led by their union, more whites saw the MDC’s potential. We included some of them in the interim leadership of the party as a demonstration of our policies and values.”
Former British premier Tony Blair told the House of Commons that he worked closely with the MDC to subvert the Government while former US ambassador to Zimbabwe Christopher Dell was quoted in leaked diplomatic cables opining that if westerners had better partners than the weak and indecisive Tsvangirai they would have achieved their regime change objectives in Zimbabwe.
Mliswa Praises Jabulani Sibanda on Grace Mugabe Rally Tirade
ZANU PF Mash West Chairman Temba Mliswa has come to War Veterans leader Jabulani Sibanda’s aid, currently under attack for not attending any of Grace Mugabe’s marathon rallies, saying people should give Sibanda a break. (Also read Jabulani Sibanda Punished for Bunking Grace Mugabe’s Rallies )
Mr Mliswa told ZimEye in an exclusive interview Monday afternoon, “Jabulani Sibanda is a worker. He is the Commissar for the party and … there is no man you can attribute the resounding victory of the 2013 elections other than Jabulani Sibanda. He doesn’t say a lot, but he grafts, he is a grafter. He has been all over, so already he is ahead of all of us in terms of preparing for the 2018 elections, targeting institutions making them understand ZimAsset and to critique if they have to, and supporting if they have to.
Yes he did defend himself that he did not even attend the Presidential rallies, because he was busy mobilising people for the party so he has a role to play; he is part of the mobilizing committee for the party, so “mobilizing committee” means that he is constantly working. So I thought it was a bit unfair on anyone to attack Comrade Sibanda for that. You don’t have to be seen where the First Lady or the President is for you to be said that you are working. There are people who have surrounded themselves around the President who have lost in elections. Professor Moyo lost in Tsholotsho, Phillip Chiyangwa lost, Patrick Zhuwawo lost, but does that mean that others who won for the party who are not there, are not supportive of her?, that’s not true,” said Mliswa.
Crisis Politburo Meeting to Discuss Grace Mugabe
ZANU PF’s highest decision making body, the politburo, is set to discuss the party’s position organisational position regarding the First Lady and her historic pronouncements on political enemies at her rallies, at a meeting next week, ZimEye can reveal.
This development comes after spokesperson Rugare Gumbo refused to reply further questions on conflicts between him and the President’s wife indicating that journalists can only ask him questions about the First Lady after the Wednesday meeting, believed to be a make or break session. (Also read EXCLUSIVE – Mugabe’s Secret Spy Tapes of Mujuru ‘Saying Bob Resting on Own Faeces’)
Mr Gumbo was on Friday morning asked concerning apparent conflicts between him and the First Lady according to quotations published by a local daily in the morning.
“I don’t know what Newsday is saying, in any case I don’t discuss party issues in the media. There is a politburo meeting on Wednesday the 22nd October, it is only after that meeting that you can ask me and I will respond,” he said.
There has been a public outcry for or against the First Lady coming for all quarters following her denouncing of Joice Mujuru and other perceived enemies ho she told to do, rush and apologise to President Mugabe before it is too late. Meanwhile Mrs Mugabe on Friday was seen blasting Marondera businessman Ray Kaukonde before the crowd at her Mash East rally. More to follow….
Dr Grace: I Simply Prayed and a Journalist Dropped Dead
First Lady Grace Mugabe has said that she once made a simple prayer while holding a journalist’s book and the journo killed herself shortly after that.
Speaking at her Bindura rally of writer of Dinner With Mugabe, Heidi Holland , the First Lady voiced that she makes potent prayers that can kill.
She said Holland had insulted her in her bookseller saying that she is an exceedingly evil person.
“Pane mukadzi murungu so akanyora book achitaura kuti mukadzi wavaMugabe akaipa. Ndakaritora book racho ndikanamata ndikati Mwari if this is true what is saidd about me in this book, reprimand me but kana ari manyepo, deal with this person.
Akazviuraa mukadzi uyu.” – There is a woman who wrote a book saying Mugabe’s wife is an dreadful person. I simply took taht book and prayed to God, if this is true, reprimand me, but if they are lies, deal with this person. The woman killed herself as a result,” said Grace.
Heidi Holland died on the 11th August 2012 under unclear circumstances at her home.
Meanwhile commenting on Grace’s words, social media comic Cynic Harare tweeted, “So Dr Grace says she read a book criticising her. She prayed over the book & the writer (Heidi Holland) killed herself. Be very afraid.
God have mercy on Zimbabwe!! We will all die like flies not of Ebola but from fatal political pregnant mystic prayers. Makandiwa, please save us wooo kkkkkl..zvegore rinoka, Mwari pindirayi!”

14:05 Those are the same people who go around denouncing the President and her ( Mugabe) projects in Mazoe. She said the same faction leader is the one who has directed and influenced provincial youth chairpersons from Mashonaland East, Masvingo and Manicaland provinces to snub her rallies.

Prophet Magaya Pays Bribes to ZBC Journalists, Investigation Claims
Harare preacher Prophet Walter Magaya is allegedly paying bribes to ZBC journalists in order to get fair coverage, an investigation recently opened claims.
The Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation ZBC General Manager for television services, Tarzan Mandizvidza and a senior business reporter are being investigated by the Anti Corruption Commission for soliciting bribes from Prophet Walter Magaya and a ZANU (PF) legislator.
Mandizvidza and Bruce Chahwanda (a reporter) are said to be getting kick backs from ZANU(PF) Gokwe-Nembudziya MP Justice Mayor Wadyajena and PHD Ministries leader prophet Walter Magaya for positive coverage on the state controlled television station.
The bribe scandal was anonymously reported to the Zimbabwe Anti Corruption Commission by some disgruntled reporters after Chahwanda’s consecutive trips to Gokwe to cover Wadyajena’s political and private business while there is a Midlands Correspondent, Jackie Gwemende who covers the province.
“Last week Chahwanda was asked to write a comprehensive report by the Head of News and Current Affairs Josephine Zulu explaining who authorized his every weekend Gokwe trips. The report is now with the Human Resources department awaiting action,” said some reporters who requested anonymity for fear of victimization.
They continued saying “he is getting the blessings of going to Gokwe every weekend and cover Wadyajena by Mandizvidza . He is the same person who only covers Prophet Mayaga’s stories and no one else. If anyone comes with a Magaya story the copy does not see the light of the day.”
The sources said Tichaona Chikono, the camera person who moves with Bruce Chahwanda was not also happy with the dealings as he is also sidelined when it comes to the sharing of the bribes.
“The guy complains of being used by Mandizvidza and Chahwanda as they do not give him anything for the public relations of Wadyajena and Magaya. He is very bitter,” added the disgruntled reporters.
An official with the Zimbabwe Anti Corruption commission told ZimEye that they got the reports involving Mandizvidza and Chahwanda.
“We are on the task. We received those reports from ZBC and it is not that case only but several others involving corruption at the company, ” said an official with the ZACC who cannot be named because he is not allowed to speak to the media.
Tsvangirai Booing in Manicaland Was Planned Beforehand
The booing of Morgan Tsvangirai over elections in Manicaland on Sunday was planned beforehand, it has emerged.
A senior MDC- Renewal officer in the region told ZimEye the dressing down of Tsvangirai had been ordered way before the incident.
Mr Pishai Muchauraya who is the Renewal Spokesman for Manicaland, told ZimEye the MDC cadres had planned to embarass the embattled Tsvangirai.
Manicaland is the home of the Renewal movement which saw Tsvangiria being challenged to step down by Deputy Treasurer Elton Mangoma backed by a host of other Manica heavyweights including Roy Bennett and Muchauraya himself.
When asked whether it is true that the cadres had embarrassed Tsvangirai, Muchauraya replied saying: it is true, but planned.”
Tsvangirai was on Sunday booed by Manicaland supporters after he personally presided over an alleged “sham” provincial election to ensure his favoured candidates won. According to Newsday, this was after the executive led by Shuah Mudiwa walked out in protest, but Tsvangirai caused another storm when he skipped Kuwadzana East MP and party national organising secretary Nelson Chamisa’s name while introducing candidates vying for the secretary-general’s position and only mentioned party spokesperson and ex-Nyanga North MP Douglas Mwonzora.
