A 28- year-old woman of Thito ward in Maun was found dead in a toilet at one of the local bars on Wednesday morning.
Although details surrounding her death were sketchy, people interviewed at the crime scene said that evidence suggests a possibility that the woman was raped before she was murdered.
“The way she was seated suggested that someone dumped her there, her trousers were to her knees while her head leaned on the toilet seat,” said one the first people to arrive at the scene.
Maun Police boss, Peter Gochela refused to comment saying the case was still new and has not been furnished with details.
