The Zimbabwe Warriors are expected to commence training next week amid injury worries.

Coach Sunday Chidzambwa named his provisional selection for the COSAFA Cup on Monday.

According to  Chronicle, national team manager Wellington Mpandare has revealed that captain Knowledge Musona who returned to action over the weekend after a long lay-off, will be further assessed to see if he is fit to be part of the squad.

Another key player is defender Teenage Hadebe who is struggling with an ankle injury.

Khama Billiat who has been in and out of action at Mamelodi Sundowns in the just-ended campaign completes the list.

The Warriors will start training on May 24 until their departure for Polokwane, Limpopo province, for the tournament.

The Warriors will set the ball rolling on June 2 against the winner of Group B comprising Angola, Botswana, Mauritius and Malawi.
