30 July 2018
By Own Correspondent| Voting at Donnington Farm in Norton had to be temporarily suspended following a fire outbreak.
The fire which started just before midday disrupted the voting process as Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) officials and police officers battled to douse it.
The ZEC officials and the police officers were however assisted by farm workers.
It however could not be immediately established what caused the fire by the time of going to print.
Norton Constituency is where the former legislator Temba Mliswa and special adviser to President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Christopher Mutsvangwa are battling it out for the National Assembly seat.
