Three Arrested On The Murder Of Zim Student In Algeria

Correspondent|Algerian newspaper has reported that police in the Algerian town of Annaba have arrested the three perpetrators of the murder of the Zimbabwean student, Prosper Ndudzo, who was assaulted and died on February 5.

The police services said in a statement they had committed “great human and material resources” for the arrest of the murder suspects.

The 22-year-old Ndudzo was a second-year student at Badji Mokhtar University in Annaba.

He was fatally stabbed by Algerian youths on Tuesday afternoon, February 5 in Sidi Amar commune.

The attack reportedly occurred while Prosper and two of his friends were looking for provisions to prepare their dinner following the closure of the university residence’s restaurant.

His attackers, three young Algerian youths, had tried to steal his cellphone.

He resisted, leading to one of his attackers slashing his leg with a knife before the other one stabbed him in the neck and ran away.
