Farai Dziva|Takamuka leader and former MDC Youth Assembly secretary general Promise Mkwananzi has said members of the dreaded Military Intelligence Department(MID) are plotting to kill him.

Mkwananzi added several human rights activists have been placed on the “hit list.”

“So the military intelligence left a list of people to be killed at borders and airports myself included…God will protect us,” tweeted Mkwananzi.

In January Mkwananzi also indicated that state security agents were plotting to assassinate him.

Five human rights activists were arrested at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport on Monday for allegedly plotting to topple Emmerson Mnangagwa.
