Jane Mlambo| Former Member of Parliament for Harare West, Jessie Majome has once again thrown her hat in the ring to sit on the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) after being shortlisted for interviews set to kick off on the 21st of June.
Majome who fell out of favor with the Movement for Democratic Change after accusing party leadership of sidelining her in the parliamentary elections has previously attended interviews for the Prosecutor General post which eventually went to Kumbirai Hodzi.
Other opposition MDC members who have also been shortlisted include former Kwekwe Central legislator Blessing Chebundo, Tongai Matutu.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa sympathizer Tinomudaishe Chinyoka and banker James Mushore are also part of the 38 candidates who are set to be interviewed for the position.
President Mnangagwa has already appointed his lieutenant Sibusiso Moyo’s wife as the Chairperson of the Commission.
